I have a 16 year old who thinks he is gods gift. I have never met a more self-absorbed person in my entire life. I just sat and explained to him how money is tight and we have to eliminate the extras until we get back on our feet. He said, "So, are you gonna give me the money I asked you for or what?" I threw the last $15 I had at him and told him thanks alot. I think the top of my head is splitting open. What does it take to get thru to them regarding money? I know I shouldn't give in, but child abuse is still illegal and that is my next possible action. He is an expert at driving me up the wall to the point I explode. I'm really just venting, but responses will be appreciated.

My teenage son is (sigh) well known by the local law enforcement. I don't normally buck against them, but the one who always seems to be stopping him for little stuff just informed me that my son needed to come to the station so he can write him a ticket for an infraction he observed while on vacation last week. Is that legal? It doesn't even sound logical, let alone legal. Please give me some advice. Thanks!
