I'm was born in the Philippines but moved here in the US at age 10. I came with my dad and my brother. I'm in the 12th grade of high school. My dad only earns $6,000 per year while I have a job that do not earn a lot. I have a good academic background but not over the top. I have a 3.69 gpa unweighted and I participate in a lot of in and out of school activities. My family is very poor will this have an advantage or disadvantage on me in applying for the top schools?

It's a persuasive essay in favor of the seat belt law being mandatory...and I know i didn't include the reasons (i don't need it for now)...pls tell me what you think

Have you ever thought of a world with no serious and life-term damages when you were just minding your own business down the road and suddenly a car hits you? What about losing your family’s worries to deal with the happenings when you ride a car without having a seat belt on for safety measures? You do not want them to see you end up in the hospital crying for you in the emergency room, would you? Disasters like this are easily preventable by just simply putting your seat belt on. That is why the state has passed the seat belt mandatory law, and I believe that this idea can benefit the society.

i'm making a poem about food and i suck at it, so which sounds better?

1.) "Food can be found anywhere you go in this town

So people's moods are happy as if they scored a touchdown."

or

2.) "Food can be found anywhere you go

So that people are as happy as if they win a game of bingo."

I need a simile in that line so i have to write it like that

Why does he/she has poor judgment?

It's about an all boys school. They wear uniforms.

So there was a new guy in the school, he is described as bad. He even pointed out a middle finger in front of class while answering the teacher's question. Then there was an all-girls school, which also have school uniforms. It wasn't far away from the boy's school.
