I am cycling my tank at the moment and went to pet store for stocking advice. Here is what the guy told me: I could have 5 male guppy easily in this size tank or I could go with 2 guppy and one male betta. Is this information correct or would I be over stocked? He also said I could keep betta in a cold water tank. I have been told this numerous times but all I have read says they are tropical fish??? So I don't get this conflicting info and any thoughts on Betta's in cold water would be great.... But I mainly want to know about my stocking options.... I am open to other fish not mentioned above Thanks

I am currently cycling a 22 litre tank and am thinking of getting a male betta for this tank. I would just like to know what other options I may have for this tank that would allow me to have more than one fish. I would like some movement/life in the tank. I have 2 live plants and a live water bambo in the tank at the moment. I dont mind if the fish are cold water. thanks

I have a 22 litre tank that I would like to put a male betta into. I want to know if adding water from my other well established tank would speed up cycling? I was thinking of adding say 20% old tank water and the rest fresh tap water. I can't use any of the filter medium from old tank in the new one to help speed up the process. The new tank was in use about 2 week ago I have reused gravel and have put 2 live plants and a plastic log that was in the tank when it was in use recently. How long till i can introduce the fish? Also if anyone has any ideas for a tank mate I checked a few sites and they said I am only at 50% capacity with one male betta.

I was wanting to know if you can change the settings on facebook. I saw a medium on facebook who posted a video of them on their news feed page but instead of saying the usual 'whats on your mind' it said "what did you learn today?" I think she changed the settings and not some divine intervention like she claims. I know you can change stuff like have no gender ect so i figure you could get in a change anything....HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF IT DOES NOT

This happened ages ago when it was just 9 days out of warranty...bummer so I never got around to fixing as I have other machines. It still starts up and loads all the start screens and everything seems fine with that it just wont read games and gets stuck when shutting. I was just wanting to know if this sounds like it would be costly to fix? I seem to think there is not much wrong with it and it seems a shame for it just to be sitting around if it was just a spring or something. I am thinking about taking to a repair shop that do phones and computers as they are Always cheaper than say going through eb games or some similar chain store.

My friend has a 22 litre tropical tank with an assortment of fish including an oscar a couple of clown loachs another type of loach that look like snakes and a few other fish that I forget the type. They seem to think that because the fish live in different parts of the tank and it does not Look at all crowded that it is not over stocked, I think it is and have tried to explain but I am not heard I was wanted a website to quote or refer them on to. The tank does have a really good in built filter that takes up whole back of tank and some of the snake fish live in filter

I have 2 goldfish, 1 sucking catfish, 3 black and 1 apple snail; I also have one widow tetra in a separate 4 litre tank. I want to move the goldfish ect into my new 20 litre tank the tetra into the 10 litre tank and also introducing a few more new widow tetras. I would like to get a betta for the 4 litre tank but feel it may be on the small size for this fish... I have been to 2 pet shops both speacializing in fish and recieved conflicting advice. I also have two types of live plants not sure of type and 2 lots of snail eggs waiting to hatch will my fish eat the baby snails and control population....
