I used to be able to color any Text, shape, or image by just selecting the particular layer and use pain bucket tool for example. Not sure what I clicked, but recently when I try to do the same; I always get the message

"This type Layer must be rasterized before proceeding. Its text will no longer be editable. Rasterize the type? "

I do not want to rasterize. Can I know how to revert back to the normal setup where I can do the coloring without the need for rasterize please.

It also seems to mess around with my selection.

For example - I have a circle shape in the middle with transparent background.

I used to be able to go Select>All followed by Select>Inverse and it will select the circle shape.

But now it selects the entire canvas when I select all but returns the following error when I Select>Inverse

"Warning No Pixels were selected".

Those coupons that have like 10 tear-able coupons in a A4 size. For example McDonald and subway coupons. What are these coupons called?

Fairly sure they are not called tear-able coupons. And where can I possible print coupons in this manner? Thanks.

P.S: Not looking for McDonald coupons. Looking to print tear-able coupons.

I want to blow up a picture to the size of 4 feet by 8 feet portrait. Any idea what kind of pixel size my image must be to be able to expand to that size.

My current picture is of size 4mb and 2500px X 5000px. If I were to use photoshop and change the pixels to double this amount for example, will the quality remain?

At a McDonald drive through where the Mcdonald's cashier machine is down. Ended up staying on that line and blocking the vehicles behind for a good 10 minutes since the staff asked me to wait.

Since it was taking too long, I decided to move off from there as those caught behind may not want to wait and didn't want to hold them up.

Got a lashing from wife who was sitting beside saying the staff didn't ask me to move. Why do I bother so much about others?

Question - Who is at fault? Me or wife? Honest answers please. I am so confused. This is like the millionth time we are having arguments on such basis such as not fighting for a parking slot, bothering about others, not wanting to stop the car on the road cos the traffic is heavy and I would jam the place and so on.

Is this game still obtaining lots of new players or filled with veterans?

Find this game interesting and wish to play it but have some questions. I absolutely know no one that plays it thus it is all going to be just me.

1. Do they have any mechanisms/methods in place to easily find random parties for dungeon runs and such?

2. How is the community of players like? Friendly? No offence but bad experience from other MMOs.

3. Can my PC handle the game? It uses Processor i7-3610qm, RAM 8GB, Graphic card is Nvidia GEForce GT640m.

I am making a documentary about a football player.

I am going to interview and film a friend of this football player. Can I get some insight on the kind of questions I should be asking?

I did a similar interview with the player's school coach where I asked questions like what was he(the football player) like, his growth, whether the coach was able to predict this guy's future based on his performance and so on.

I am stuck cos I don't want to repeat these questions to the friend too. I want to cover something different but can't really come up with anything. Can I get some help on what I should be asking the friend?

I am looking to learn Android programming. I know the basics of Java, more like an intermediate level. Learnt it during my course over a 2 year period.

The books I come across are either too basic where they start teaching you how to declare variables or a little too advanced where there talking about in depth apis.

Is there any book out there that assumes the user knows Java and yet not get too advanced? Thanks.

As mentioned in title, I am trying to custom build a PC to be able to play games such as Battlefield 4 and Guild Wars 2 at max settings and enjoy good fps (at least an average of 40fps in extremely populated areas in the game. Eg: having 40 people on same screen).

On top of that, I do some simple 3d modelling, rendering and video editing. I came up with the following setup of hardware to build my PC to be able to run my requirements smoothly. Please advice if I am under spending at any place which will end up in bottleneck or I could reduce my overall cost by cutting back on something and getting something else cheaper.

P.S: I would slowly add on some better fans and heatsink after a month or so after building. I am also not into overclocking.

Student library card is scanned into the system.

System searches through the student database to check the student's borrowing history.

Student allowed to borrow a book subject to the following 2 constraints:

- They have no overdue books

- Currently no more than 4 books on loan.

If loan not permitted, the librarian can override the system and enter a code to allow the loan.

Student can borrow from another university's library by accessing inter-loan system to find to find book and place order.

The above check of the student's card is again performed.

Special books within library cannot be borrowed. They can only be consulted. Also subjected to the 2 constrains previously described.

Finally, students have access to printer, using credits previously added by a 3rd party on his card. The card check for the printing process is

subject to the constraints previously described.

Construct a UML representation of the processes described above. This will involve the production of one or more Use Case Diagrams.

I am just changing the HDD for a spare laptop I have since its HDD died on me. I just want to check if the following HDD is compatible to it. Last thing I want is to make a wrong assumption and buy a wrong one. My Laptop model is Acer V3-571-G and it's old HDD is a Toshiba Mk7559GSXP. Thanks.

Looking to buy the following laptop for the following uses. Please advice if it will support the applications without any problem. Thanks. I have added a link to the laptop below.

I play games, some which are graphically intense such as Crysis and Bio shock.

I create games, more of a hobby using game engines like UDK and Cry Engine.

Also do 3D modelling using max 3DS and blender plus graphic works on Photoshop.

A bit of web designing using Dreamweaver.

Programming using common IDEs such as visual studio and NetBeans.

And of course the usual stuff such as web surfing, watching movies and listening to music.

I wanted to add in an extra 4-8GB of ram but wondering if it is an overkill. The graphic card itself, anything more than 2GB of dedicated memory seems to spike the price too much thus wish to keep it to 2GB unless it makes massive difference. Please advice.

I am building a custom PC and trying to work out which software goes to which hard disk. For example games, softwares such as photoshop and microsoft word, OS windows & ubuntu, pictures and videos.

My current hard disk is defective. I have the backup in DVD cds. Can I purchase a new hard disk and restore the OS into the new hard disk? Will it work?

Is there a one stop cheap place to get it all like a website?

Such as patch panel, bulk Cat5 cables, wall sockets, routers, switches?

By mode, I mean the most frequently occurring number. For example in array [1,2,2,3] 2 is mode. In an array like [1,1,2,2,3] 1 and 2 are both considered as mode. My following code prints numbers as long as they repeat. Please advice how I can print the mode correctly regardless if there is 1 or more than 1 mode. Thank you.

Need to configure Netbeans to do the following:

1. Example I have a class Fruits and have a method in it called Apples.

I create an instance in main method for this class called fruit1.

When I type inside the main method fruit. I want the method Apples() to be given as a

possible choice. Right now it only prompts in-build methods such as equals() and Apples

doesn't even appear in that list.

I am able to do the above easily when I code C language in Visual basics. Hoping it is just

some settings issue. Please advice. Thank you.

For example I declare and give the following value:

int[] newArray = new int[3];

When I say int, I am storing the value in 32bits. Since the above int array consists of 3 numbers, it should add up to a space of 32x3 = 96bits. Am I right or it is still taken as 32bit?

Same question on int without it being an array:

int newInt = 500;

This number 500 is now stored in 32bits. Or am I wrong and it should be stored as 96 bits again, 32 bits per digit.
