Why are some seemingly proper technical or mathematical questions deleted for no apparent reason?
Over the past week or so, I have answered several apparently legitimate questions that were later deleted. It certainly makes me feel like a chump to repeatedly waste time solving solving complex problems and equations, only to find out that the questions have been deleted. Is there something about these questions I am failing to see that makes them improper and therefore unacceptable? I am about ready to throw in the towel over this! Any ideas?

As far as I know, I have had no violations. Is this a software glitch, an official action or a hacker's vendetta?
