  • how to tell them to let go after so long?

I have 2 exes that are kind of stuck on me. I had one who I dated 6 years ago add me to his myspace. I was like ok, we can be friends. The next thing I know he tells me that he loves me still and misses me. The other I stopped talking to in Jan 2008. He got a hold of me in April. I had deleted all social sites and left out anyone who would tell him how to talk to me. Well April this year he was all I love you and want to be with you. Im not into either of these 2. I have a great life Im married and happy. These relationships ended in bad ways. How do I get them to let go of something that isn't going to happen? I just don't know how to deal with these losers or why they are being like this now? What can I do? Ignoring doesn't seem to work.

  • The new step mommy problem?

The whole situation is messed up. My step daughter is 2 now. I've been with her dad for over a year now. I asked a while ago what to do about the "mommy" thing. I stopped letting her call me mommy. The thing is that she won't. Its to the point that even in front of her mom she calls me this. It lead to her mother being quite rude to her. I know I'm not her bio mom. I don't try to be. I do know that I am a parent in her life though. I see this little girl all the time. I know her mom is "there" but in diffrent ways than me. She works 12 hours and all that all the time. Its hard to explain....

  • As a new "step" mommy?

I'm in a relationship with a man who has a child that will be 2. I love this little girl. I've been in her life for over a year. I'm helping with all the things that her parents do. I'm wondering if I should keep telling her I'm not mommy. I do this because I want her to make the decision when she is older. Am I confusing her or upsetting her because she doesn't know the diffrence just that I seem like mommy?
