Is it OK to ask if she's attracted?
Here's the haps: we've had three dates. On the last one, I leaned in for a goodnight kiss and was rebuffed. She says (by e-mail) that it's because she wants to go "glacially" slow and get to know each other. I reply (by e-mail---yes, stupid) that I'm fine with slow now that I know what's what, but that I don't date people who aren't attracted to me, so if that's part of it, I'd appreciate her saying so and we can be friends (I think we'd be great friends, we have a lot in common).
It's been two days and I haven't heard back. Was I over the line? Is it a crazy request? Should I have made it clear that I'm attracted to her? (I figured that might seem creepy if it's not mutual, three dates or not.)
Thanks!

4 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoRelationship neurosis---how do I relax?
I've been in a relationship with a wonderful woman for about four months. During the last month our schedules were strained and we weren't able to see each other as much, which dropped us out of the infatuation stage and into realityville---and I've become neurotic.
Intellectually, I have all the proof in the world that she loves me and wants to be with me. But I can't seem to keep away the stupid fears, and I'm worried that I'll end up ruining a really fantastic relationship if I can't get myself under control. Other than drinking (seems like a workable plan, but my family's full of alcoholics and it's just not a good idea), how can I get my nerves to be in the same place as my brain: knowing that she cares about me, that she's interested, that she chooses to make time for me, that she loves me?
