The story involved that a war between the US and soviet union had broken out. In the story both sides had a large bunker on this battlefield and used robots to fight most battles. The US used a type of robots known as shredders that would kill anyone with an I.D. bracelet. They also used robots disguised as humans to trick the enemy. Also, later in the story it was revealed some of the protagonist's companions were robots including (I believe) a little kid.

Im looking for a new mecha anime to watch. I've seen and liked Evangelion, Code Geass, Gundam 00, seed and AGE, Gurren Lagann, Eureka Seven and AO, Line barrel, and Infinite Stratos. My favorite has to Evangelion with its deep story line. Any suggestions? and sorry if I post some more series I may have forgotten about.
