There's this guy I met through a mutual friend who I was instantly attracted to. As I got to know him I realized that we really got along. He treats me really well and is always texting and calling me. He's asked me to be his girlfriend and be official, but I'm suspicious. He ALWAYS has a ton of other girls texting him and writing on his facebook wall. He says he doesn't care about them and that he's just an outgoing person, but I don't trust him; he has a reputation for getting around. Am I too suspicious? Or do I need to see him as a player and get over him?

My throat has been sore for 6 days now. I Don't have white bumps in my throat, it's very red. It hurts to swallow sometimes, and sometimes my ears hurt a little (but its hard to tell). My ears are muffled and I can't pop them. My nose is runny/mucusy. I have had a consistent fever for the past 6 days also, of about 101.

My doctor is closed for labor day weekend, so I can't go in. Please help!

Help! What's wrong with me?

SYMPTOMS:

sore throat

fever (gone by the 4th day)

body ache

a lot of mucus

(Im pretty sure it isn't a sinus infection though. Isn't it supposed to hurt when you look up? Well it doesn't hurt when I look up)

Okay so I'm an average high school girl. I'm not really thin, but I'm not fat either. I'm not gorgeous, but I'm not ugly. I'm pretty average. But I feel like there's something wrong with me, because guys never hit on me or flirt with me or anything! All of my friends have guys all over them, but guys never think of me that way. I'm perfectly friendly to them, but not very flirty, because I feel superficial when I flirt, because it's not a part of who I am. Is there a certain way I should be acting? Or something I'm missing?

A little while ago I started dating this guy. While we were dating, I introduced him to my friend. We didn't date very long, before I broke up with him, saying that I wanted to be friends (which I really did). After that, he wouldn't talk to me, and it really hurt me because he's a nice guy and i wanted to be friends. He wouldnt talk to me, but he still talked to my friend who i introduced him to. And now she is telling me she likes him (he doesnt like her back). And now they're hanging out, but they won't invite me because it would be "awkward".

i honestly don't care if they go out, i just really want to know how i can still be friends with him, if it's possible.

okay so there's this guy, and i really like him. (I won't use the "L-bomb" because so many stupid girls think they're in love when they're not) The thing is, he totally doesn't like me at all. He messes around with girls all the time. He only wants sex, and i know it. But I really do like him and his personality, and I just want to be around him...

so what, do i just forget him, because i know it'll never work? or do i go after him or what?

Okay so I am 16 years old, and I think I am pretty healthy. I'm a girl, and have very big bones and broad shoulders. I exercise for 2 hours twice a week. I am 5'4 and I weigh 147 pounds. I was just curious, so I calculated my BMI online, and it said i was overweight. I feel fit, but now I'm really worried that I am overweight.

Hey yeah everyone says my friend is way more gorgeous then me, and i think we're about even. So.... which one in the picture is prettier? the one on the left or the one on the right? i just want an unbiased opinion for once in my life.

PS okay for those of you who will say im superficial/ shallow/unconfident/whatever. just keep it to yourself, okay? if im so superficial, dont waste your time to answer the question...

I have a friend, and I feel like she can sometimes control my life. When she hates someone, she automatically expects me to hate them too. She says "I'm not telling you NOT to like them, but if you like them, don't hang out with me" which is a really unfair ultimatum. I feel like she's the leader and I'm the follower, all the time. She is always right, and seems to have memory problems, because she "never said" some things that I certainly recall her saying. I don't want to fight with her or lose the friendship, but I also don't want her to walk all over me. HELP!

P.S. she DOES consider my feelings, doesn't degrade me, or intentionally hurt me. To be honest, I don't think it's a conscious effort. She treats everyone this way...

Help! I have really thick hair, and it's curly, but not the cute curls. When I leave it natural, it frizzes like crazy. If I try the cream thats supposed to help curls, it makes it worse. I've used so many products to help curly hair but none of them made a difference. Also, hair straightening/defrizzing products don't help either. I'm worried I might damage my hair if I straighten it too much, and it's also a pain to straighten. It takes me an hour to straighten my hair, and I have a chi.

I've had it relaxed and it worked pretty well, but I don't have the money to do it again.

Can anyone tell me how I can get my hair to look acceptable (either curly or straight, it doesn't matter) without using heat products or spending a ton of money?
