How may a dog owner prove that a speeding car hit their dog and killed it? Can it be by a camera?

The dog don't belong in the road, owners were not there, only till the end and there were witnesses that know the dog came out of no where and ran into car.

So I went to the store and as I was getting my things into the counter the man behind me tapped my butt with his shopping cart once, I didn't say anything but as I tell my daughter to go to the right side next to bb stroller. I got closer to pay when the same person tapped again.. It did not hurt and he did not push me but I did turn around and in a kindly manner I told him to watch out and keep his cart in a proper distance to prevent from tapping my butt. The man did not apologized or anything and began insulting me infront of everyone like a total jerk and macho man infront of my girl. And she was frightened. I don't think his reacction was the correct. What do u guys think. I also told the register clerk they should open more registers since lines were long and 2 out of 7 were open to prevent all people from rushing people in line.
