Hi, does anybody know why ZoneAlarm Antivirus+Firewall Free takes a long time to update the antivirus definitions ?

It also uses the 'vsmon' to download/upload all the data it needs during that update. (shows windows on the metered network details by program)

Why ?

Example, latest update I've done for a few months took me 3hours and almost 500MB of data.

What was that update about ?

Any info on what happens on the background when ZA is updating is welcomed. Thank you.

PS: also noticed after a few years using ZA, its folder grows to Gigabites size! any idea?

I'm trying to find the PAYG sim card which lasts longer in the UK without making calls or topping up.

Seems many these days are only 60 days active, then go on standby if we don't make a charging call/txt.

I just went to Tesco and Optical Express to check my eyes.

The right eye came out almost identical, just the axis changed of 5.0 from one to the other.

But the left eye came as follows:

Tesco

Sph -0.25 Cyl +0.50 Axis 95

Optical Express

Sph -0.75 Cyl +1.00 Axis 100.0

Should this happen between two tests ?

Can it vary so much from one day to another ? or the variation is insignificant ?

Hate this time of the year, I do not celebrate halloween, think it's a stupid idea to promote evil.

Just had parsley on water in a PC measuring tub for 1 week.

When removed the parsley out of it, noted the bottom had 2 big cracks, side wall one crack (that reached both walls) and top micro cracks at the water level.

Does Parsley have/releases a chemical that cracks the PC ?

have a number like 010-2012-xxx

want to make a column with auto-updating of the xxx number by sequence of 1

so A1 = 010-2012-001

A2 010-2012-002

...

Then want to change and do:

A1 = 010-2012-101

A2 = 010-2012-102

just by changing the value xxx in A1 to 101 it should automatically update the following values sequentially of 1.
