Is that why I believe in the paranormal, because I cannot think properly? And why can't I think? Am I just poorly educated or did my mother drop me on my head? Or did some supernatural being suck my brains out?

HAHAHA - sorry that I keep laughing like that, I am simple and it can't be helped. 

I do, because while I am convinced that they are a 100% real other people just laugh when I tell them about the flame monster I saw under the sink when I was three or the special red coat hanger that just magically appeared!

How do you handle the embarrassment of wanting to tell everyone about your unbelievable experiences?

My granddaughter Lyra is interested in joining me here, is she too young?

I was walking through my local town, and my mind wandered to my first school. There was a young girl there that I thought was gorgeous. I was only five and she was about the same. One day she never came to school and I was told that she had changed schools. I was remembering how upset I was. She always had very well pleated hair and was always smart. As I thought about her, I turned a corner and passed a dry cleaners. I glimpsed in the window and there was a female with her back to me with exactly the same pleated hair. I got a shock at first but told myself, she wasn't going to be walking about with the same pleated hair as she did at 5 years old, as she would be 45 then. She turned a little and of course it was not her. I walked further up the street,laughing at myself for thinking that way. I turned the corner of a prefab building and bumped into someone. She turned and said sorry. It was her. I just stood there pointing at her with my mouth open. She must have thought me crazy. She didn't recognise me and walked on. She still looked gorgeous.

When I was about 9 I was invited to go out for a day with my pal and his parents. They bought him a small ball with a long elastic, attached to a heavy weight. The weight was shaped like a flying saucer and was about 10" across. and made of tin. It was full of concrete for the weight, and very brightly coloured. There were two bats with it. After about 15 minutes, the elastic broke and we lost the ball. My pal was going the throw the base away but I asked for it as I was fascinated by the colours. When we got home, I went straight to the toilet. I sat there on the loo and had the base in front of me. I was holding it like a steering wheel. Just like a kid of 9, I was making all the tyre screech noises as I drove my imaginary car. It was that heavy that it slipped from my hand and fell to the floor with a thump. I heard it roll to the back of the toilet, then all was quiet. I finished with the loo but when I looked, it was not there. I called my granddad in and told him what Had happened. He thought I had dropped it in the loo but I told him how big it was and told him that it hit the floor in front of me. The toilet was only about 3' x 4' and yet that weight was never seen again. Although it was a bit silly, my granddad looked for it several times in a tiny room and so did I. He had no time for paranormal but he had heard the thump when I dropped it so this one had him beat. I know now, that this is a common phenomenon but it is strange when it happens to you.

That would help to keep the sciency smartypants away.
