Can he be charged with Forgery and Larceny?
My husband and I adopted our grandson and took out an insurance policy on him when he was 2 years old back in '88 and we are both listed as owners of the policy. We legally separated 3 years ago and I recently found out that he has cashed in our grandson's policy without my knowledge or signature. It was for $30,000 and I never saw a penny of the money.
Can I contact a district attorney and have him charged with Forgery, and Grand Larceny? If I do this and he is convicted, will I stop getting 1/2 of his pension check? That was ordered in the agreement.
