Given vector A = (a1, a2, a3)

How do I find any vector B that is perpendicular to A? I feel like it should be easy but i'm stuck. Once I've got that. I believe this formula will allow me to find vector C.

(a2b3-a3b2), -(a1b3-a3b1), (a1b2-a2b1)

In case anyone is interested this is for a game i'm working on. C is the direction of gravity in the game, as the player moves the mouse up and down the camera should rotate vector B up or down along C.

I've been casually studying japanese for a while now and have gotten into a bit of a rut. I've gotten pretty good at formulating basic phrases with a moderately vocabulary, but i find 99% of spoken japanese goes right over my head.

I think the problem is that the taps and other reasources i've used are mostly in the format <english phrase> <Japanese translation>

Does anyone know of any taps in the format <Japanse> then <english translation>? I think this would help me a lot.

Any general advice is welcome too. I'd love to get to the point were i understand bits and pieces of Japanese TVs shows and movies.

I was thinking there are tons daily web comics i enjoy reading and hoping to find a few written in japanese. Its seems like a good way to practice. Every morning or evening I'd translate a few of the days comics. I'd prefer one that were written with few or no Kanji because there are just way way to many Kanji characters.

If nobody knows of anything like that, please suggest any other material you think might be good. Web based it nice, I'm not opposed to buying something of amazon (or whereever) or going to the library.

I need a passport by Friday of next week. The website says you have to make an appointment at a regional office. The office nearest to me has times available Monday morning.

Does anyone know if they print the passports and give them to you on the spot? Or do you have to wait for them to mail them to you? I called them but it was an automated machine, and wasn't very informative.

His vote won't have made a different as the bill passed 75-25.

Read or skim the article and say how you feel about McCain's decision. Did he break his campain promise? If now, how to do you justify his position? If so, has this weakened your support for him?

I have a table like.

location - amount

a - 10

b - 15

c - 7.

I want to write a query that returns the locations to go to in order to extract some quantity. so if the quantity was 7 it would return c - 7, if the quantity was 10 it would return c - 7 and a - 3.

Any thoughts on how to do this?

Just about every question in this category is stupid. Someone will try to make a big deal about McCain's houses. Obama is a commie. McCain hugged bush once. Obama sounds like Osama. Its like people aren't even trying to think.

I feel the need to help people be less stupid, but the stupid comments and questions outnumber the smart ones by so much that its hopeless.

I eventually give up and go back the the computers category to help people with viruses.

But please people. Please please focus on the candidate's policies. Things like how are we going to fix education or the debt or the war, are what need to be focused on. Don't let yourselves get distract with irrelevant BS.

I'm playing the video game spore right now. I'm at the space phase, and i want to explore and terraform planets ect, but my colonies get attacked every 2-3 minutes. Basically the entire phase has become really crappy UFO fighting.

Does anyone know if there's a way turn these attacks off?

I have a 1995 Chrysler Cirrus.

Its having problems with the transmission. Its and automatic. It was running fine on the high way when it suddenly shifted into a lower gear and rpms shot way up. After about a second, it shifted back to the correct gear for a while, but then shifted down again and hasn't been able to shift top gear since.

I took it to a local mechanic at the nearest exit. He tried to hook a diagnostic device up but the device said it couldn't connect to the computer.

Maybe the car uses a computer to shift gears and the problem is electrical?

Any advice is much appreciated.

i want to run it for every distinct item in my shipment_details table. So i want to know how many item001's how many item002's item003's ect.

using Microsoft SQL server management studio.

any ideas?
