  • Best car for under or about $25 thousand?

Hey guys! I'm in the market for a new car. I want something that won't break the bank but I won't regret buying. I am looking for something that looks sporty and has a little under the hood, maybe in the v6 range. 2 or 4 door preference going to the coupe. I'm more less looking for recommendations, and opinions. Thanks a lot!

  • LifeStyle SKYN Condoms?

I recently went out to get a box of SKYN condoms to try and after opening my first box I found that they had a nice golden rapper (front and back). My girlfriend and I liked the condoms a lot so after we ran out I went and bought another box, but instead of the golden rapper I found that these were different. On the front it was matte black, and the back was a matte gold color, I noticed on the box it said NEW in the corner when I searched it online but I never found information on the change. I am just wondering if there is any change in the condoms themselves or if it is just the packaging. Box still looks the same it is just the individual rapper.

Anyway, if someone could please help me out it would be great!

  • Does anyone know anything about the 338 Federal ?

Thinking about getting a Ruger M77 308 win (20 inch barrel) re-bored to the 338 Federal. I would primarily use this for black bear (under 50 yards), moose (under 150 yards), and deer (around 150 yards or under). Don't really need another rifle but this one caught my attention and I am wondering if anyone on here has any experience with it or just really knows anything at all about it. Would it be well suited for me and would it pack much of a punch one these animals? I already have 2 308's so I'm not at a loss.. I have a number of other calibers for the job but from what I hear this is a good cartridge and should perform exceptionally well.

  • Rifle caliber for deer?

After taking a closer look at the Savage 111 Lightweight Hunter I decided it would be a nice piece to have in my safe. Thinking more along the lines of a dedicated deer rifle I'm not sure what caliber I should buy it in. I already have rifles I can use on moose and bear (300 W S M, 7 mm RM, 30-06, 308) so I'm thinking something with low recoil but will still get the job done with some authority on these Canadian Whitetails. Maybe you guys could let me know what you would buy and why.. any personal experience with a caliber is welcome!

  • Point of impact change with different bullets?

I'm shooting a 7mm Rem Mag for moose and deer hunting and I am currently using the 150 gr Winchester Super X Power Points, which for what they are shoot pretty good. I was told to try the Winchester Power Max Bonded in the same weight for hunting. I was told that they are much better bullets and I would like their performance. My question is:

    * Is their enough of a difference in the two to want to switch?

    * Is the Power Max Bonded a moose bullet?

    * And would there be much of a POI difference between the two loads at a very max range of 300 yards?

  • 7mm Remington Magnum bullet choice and weight?

I recently purchased a Savage 111 Trophy Hunter in 7mm Rem Mag. Not having ever used anything other then various 30 caliber cartridges for hunting I'm almost clueless when it comes to the 7mm RM. I would like to be able to use this as my do it all rifle. I've been told that a 160 grain premium bullet would be a good choice for any of your NA game except maybe a grizzly but I wanted some other opinions and recommendations. Does anyone hunt much with this cartridge and what do you find as a good weight for hunting? I mostly hunt deer but if I get a chance at a moose I'd like to use this gun. Moose around here (eastern Canada) are averaging between 400 to 900 pounds and deer run about 150 to 225 for a big buck.

As a bit of a side question has anyone had any experience with the Burger VLD's or the Federal Trophy Bonded TIp... just never tried them and wondered if anyone here has?

  • A little help with a new rifle?

I am in the market for a new hunting rifle and am looking quite closely at the Weatherby Vanguard S2 in 7mm Remington Magnum. My question is this.. does anyone have any experience with this rifle and is there any other for around the same price that you recommend. Same with the caliber... answers and opinions are welcome... I mostly will use this rifle on deer, moose and black bear.. most of the shots will be between 50 and 400 yards or so.

  • Which model of the Remington 700?

When I first decided that I wanted a model 700 I started looking online and was amazed at the selection I had to choose from. I'm not all to familiar with the model 700 and I know that some people know them inside and out. I am looking for one that looks good and will stand up to the weather. I know there is the stainless version and the XCR's. I'm mainly wondered about what the big difference is between the SPS Stainless and the XCR Stainless and between them and the XCR 2. I think the XCR's have some kind of coating but I'm not sure? Would the coating wear off? Or is one of the 2 kinds of XCR more durable then the other?

    Thanks for the help!

  • Switching birth control pills?

My girlfriend switched her birth control pills and her doctor told her to double up on them once she starts them.. meaning she didn't have her period that month. 6 days ago she came off of her pill expecting a full blown 2 month period but all she is having is lower stomach pain, feeling the same as if he were having her period but there is nothing... she did say he had one discharge and thought it would be coming but never did. Is this normal for a woman that just switched pills?

  • A do it all bullet for a .308 win ?

I am trying to find a do it all bullet to take care of animals such as moose, black bear, and deer. I recently had a conversation with a fellow hunter in which he recommended I used a 150 gr Hornday Interbond for all of my hunting needs, but before I went out and spent $100 + dollars on a couple of boxes of bullets I tried a couple from him in my rifle and found them to be extremely accurate. My only question is that, are they capable of shooting black bear at 50 yards, to moose at 100 to 200 yards, and then swing over and level a whitetail out to 350 yards? Does anyone have any experience with these bullets?? Opinions, and recommendations are greatly appreciated !

    Thanks!

  • Remington ammunition?

I was contemplating the purchase of a Ruger M77 Hawkeye in All Weather. I was considering the 7mm-08 but am now thinking about the 30-06 because of bullet selection. I was wondering if the Remington Premier A Frame ammunition used the Swift A Frame bullet or is it there own version of that bullet. Also as a bear and moose thumper would the A frame bullet in 180gr do the job, or what about the Trophy Bonded Bear Claw.. A-Frame VS TBBC ?

  • Condom size, can't get a good fit.. please help...?

Me and my girlfriend recently went to have sex and when I went to put on the condom it was really tight. I'm still in my teen years and I am still growing. Since then we've noticed a big difference in my penis size, especially in the girth. I tried to put on one of the "regular" condoms and it was very uncomfortable and it was very tight. I also tried Magnum size condoms but they were a little big.. What do I do?!?

  • Barnes TTSX and TSX bullets?

Does anyone have any experience with the Barnes TTSX and TSX bullets on deer, moose, and black bear. I was thinking about getting a few boxes of the Vortex ammunition loaded in a 168 gr TTSX in a 308 win for my all around hunting. I HEARD they were a excellent bullet but would like to hear some experiences with them too.

  • Winchester Power Max Bonded vs Ballistic SilverTip on deer and black bear?

Wondering about the performance of these two bullets. I would be buying them in the 150 gr weight for the Power Max Bonded, and 168 gr for the ballistic silvertip. How do they both perform on deer and black bear? What are the pros and cons of each and which is just a better bullet? Those are the only weights available for the 308 win.

  • 30-06 sprg loads for close range black bears?

Would a 220 grain bullet at 50 yards out of a 30-06 be a good choice for black bear hunting out of a stand? Don't know much about these loads but I was told that the 220 gr would pack a huge punch at that distance out of the 30-06 and would have devastating performance on black bears. I would be using the Federal Power Shok 220 gr RN Soft Points. What are your opinions and recommendations.

  • Barrel finishes (blued vs stainless) ?

I've recently decided on getting another Ruger M77 Hawkeye. After much consideration I thought that the stainless/synthetic version, the All weather would be better suited to me. But is the stainless All weather version any more weather resistant than the blued/walnut version? Will the barrel rust as quickly, as bad, or at all? I have no experience with the stainless steel barrels so a little info would be greatly appreciated! (Caliber recommendationss would be great too... thinking the 30-06?)

  • 270 win 130 gr Nosler Partition?

I took into consideration all of the previous answers on my earlier question and then called a friend of mine who swears by his 270 win. After reading a bit more I thought that a 270 win loaded with a 130 grain Nosler Partition would probably be the best suited for me. So many people said that a 270 with can do anything a 30-06 can do with a good bullet and proper shot placement. I was told that the 130 grain was the best grain bullet for the 270 and that the Nosler Partition would be the best suited bullet for use on moose, black bear, and deer. What are your opinions, recommendations, and do you have any experience with either the 270 or the nosler partition bullet?

    Thanks!

  • Age old question.. but in all seriousness, what do you prefer? 30-06 vs 270?

I know there have been more forms and articles about this comparison than any other comparison, but when it all boils down one has to be better than the other. I'm currently looking at a Ruger m77 Hawkeye All weather in either the 270 win or 30-06. I just can't pick one over the other. I want the light recoil of the 270 but for some reason I don't think that it has enough power for the black bears and moose I hunt, probably because I have never hunted with one. One the other hand I know what the 30-06 can do but it has more recoil.. What is your opinions and personal opinions regarding these two calibers? Moose, bear and deer are the game animals.

  • Moose, bear, and deer bullet?

Doing a little more thinking would a 165 gr Trophy Bonded Tip bullet from the Federal Premium line be a better bullet? I hunt bear from a stand so the shot is only about 50 yards. Moose and deer though, I take the shot at whatever reasonable distance the shot is presented. Would the 165 gr NP still be a better choice?
