1 AnswerLyrics7 years agoShare a cruise cabin?
This Spring my family is planning on taking a cruise down to Mexico on Norwegian Cruise Lines. My mom won a free cruise for 2 and wants to take our family of 5 with her. However, she only gets a free stateroom, so we were planning on buying suite(for 3) that can accommodate all of us, and then not use the free stateroom (for 2). We were wondering if NCL would be mad if they found the 2 from the stateroom sleeping in the suite with the other 3?
7 AnswersCruise Travel7 years agoChances of getting into USC?
It has been my dream to get into USC. Both my parents went their and I currently live with my dad (I am Hispanic) and our house income is around $50k/yr supporting 5 (sometimes 6) people. So far my high school career hasn't gone as planned, but I have been able to salvage it. I'm currently a Junior and even though my overall UW GPA is around 3.2 (Weighted 3.5), my last 3 semesters (including this one), my UW GPA has been around 3.7 (weighted 4.1) and climbing. I'm in 3 Honors/AP classes, and on my PSAT score (not SAT) I was projected to get between a 1800-2100 score if I take the real SAT. Last year I took my AP test for European History and got a 4 out 5 on it, so it could count for history credits in college. My EC are playing 2 years of HS Football, joining the Debate Club, Sports talk club, Marine Biology Club, 50 Hours Community Service, Astronomy Club, and I might join the Track&Field Team this Spring. Anyway, if not USC, I'm thinking about joining UCSD or University of Maryland, but USC has been my priority for years. I know it's been hard to get into USC, and I'm really hoping that they could look more closely at my Sophomore and Junior year, and if they do, do you think I could get into to Southern Cal or any of my other options? Thanks.
3 AnswersHigher Education (University +)7 years agoCan I visit my uncle?
A couple months ago, my mom and uncle got in a big fight and she doesn't want me to visit him next summer in Washington D.C. Recently I asked this same question, but at the time my mom has majority custody of me (I'm 16) and I couldn't go. Well recently I have been debating on asking my dad to ask for majority or full custody, because I really don't like living with my mom and I really prefer living at my dad's. If he does have majority or full custody and he approves of me going to visit my uncle, can I visit him or can my mom still keep me here?
3 AnswersFamily8 years agoHow do you have an uncle-grandpa?
I see previews for that new show on cartoon network and I wonder what type of incest needs to happen to have an uncle-grandpa? This is the reason why I have such a problem with this show, because it is just weird to think about how an uncle-grandpa is made.
4 AnswersFamily8 years agoCan a 16 year old visit someone who their parent won't let them visit?
Hey, I'm 16, and due to some family issues, my mom doesn't want me seeing my uncle (her brother) until I'm 18. He didn't physically hit anyone and this mostly because of emotional drama. My mom and dad are divorced and my dad has no problem with me visiting him, but my mom has majority custody. I know to some of you, I could wait 2 years, but my uncle just had his first kid and I'm really close with him and his kid. Also I live in California and he lives in Maryland, but he said he might come out to CA to visit other family and I would like to see him while he is out. Do I have any rights to see my uncle and family in CA and to go visit him in Maryland? Or do I basically have to wait until I'm 18? Family drama sucks and I would really like to know my options to visit both sides of the family.
1 AnswerFamily8 years agoConnecting to an international airline?
Later this year I'm booked on a ticket from SAN to SFO on United Airlines, then connect to a flight from SFO to FRA on Lufthansa. The connection is around 3 hours long so I have plenty of time to get to my next flight, however I need to know if I need to be at SAN 3 hours early like if I was flying International from SAN or if I can check in for a normal domestic flight and then when I get to SFO have to check in again at the Lufthansa desk? Also if I check in for both flights at SAN will they give me my boarding pass for the Lufthansa flight? And will they check my bag all the way to FRA? or will I have to reclaim it in SFO and then separately check it to FRA with Lufthansa? It would be really helpful if someone could explain the process of checking in to get to FRA. Thanks
Also SAN is San Diego, SFO is San Francisco and FRA is Frankfort, Germany
4 AnswersAir Travel8 years agoDog vomiting white foam?
Earlier today my Labrador threw up some type of white foamy vomit. The day before it had been coughing as if something was stuck in it's throat, but we didn't think much of it. However today it threw up, but unlike most questions about this, it actually ate normally and drank water normally. Also he lives in the backyard and is not an indoor dog. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
4 AnswersDogs8 years agoShould I sit on the Green Monster?
Should I spend $175 on a ticket on the Green Monster at Fenway Park on July 3 vs the Padres?
I would be blowing off cheap seats in the top center field bleachers, and be getting a chance to sit on the most iconic wall in baseball, but I would also be spending $175 and I would be blowing off sitting with my family. So far I'm leaning on sitting with my family in Center Field because I don't want to be a jerk, but I mean, it would be like sitting on history if I bought a ticket on the green monster. What should I do? My uncle says not to get the ticket because its expensive and I would be blowing off my family, but I mean, it is the GREEN MONSTER, and a better view.

5 AnswersPhilippines8 years ago25 minute connection at LAX long enough?
So I checked my reservation this summer and I'm flying from Carlsbad, CA to Newark through LAX. Well when I booked the flight, it said I had an hour and 25 minuted connection at LAX, but now it's just 25 minutes. I'm not going to be checking in any bags, and only carry on, but 1. I will most likely have to check in my bag at the gate because the first flight is a small plane, 2. It's on United and they operate out of like 3 terminals. Is this enough time to get my bag from the gate, and run from arriving gate to my departing gate? Also, is there any way to get an earlier flight out of Carlsbad from United without a change fee, so I don't have such a tight connection? Anyone have any advice?
5 AnswersLos Angeles8 years agoBest way to get to Fenway?
This summer I'm planning on going to an evening Sox game from New Hampshire and so far (from what I have researched) the best ways to get to the game are A.Park at Wellington(Orange Line) and get on the Green Line to Kenmore B. Park at Wellesley Sq or Farms and take the commuter train to Yawkey or C. Pay $40 for parking. What is the best way to get to the game?

This summer I'm going to watch the Padres play the Redsox at Fenway and at first I was planning on wearing my Padres jersey and cap, but I hear "Sawx" fans are really jerks and will cuss at you just cause you aren't on their side. Any advise? Maybe go undercover as a sox fan?
3 AnswersBoston8 years agoIs 1 hour long enough in Newark?
This summer I'm flying in overnight from LAX to EWR and then I have exactly 1 hour to get to my connection flight to Manchester,NH. Is that enough time? I hear that I need to switch terminals on the airport bus. Is 1 hour enough time and will United hold the plane for me if I'm like 15 minutes late?

This summer I'm going on a trip to the Netherlands. I'm going to be 16, and I heard there was no drinking limit, but I really doubt that. How old do you have to be to drink privately and/or publicly like in pubs or restaurants in the Netherlands?
