  • How has the birth control arm implant worked for you?

I'm 16. I had 2 IUD's fall out. I'm on the shot and I'm bleeding 2-3 times a month. I would like to get the arm implant because it lasts 3 years and is said to regulate period or stop it completely. I would really like to hear other peoples advice and experiences with it before I go and get that. Did it get infected? Did it make you bleed more? Did you have any side-effects? Did you get pregnant while you had it? Etc. Anything will help. Thank you very much.

  • I think I had a miscarriage?

I'm 16. In high school. I'm sexually active. But I'm on birth control. My parents made sure I was on it when I had my 16th birthday. I got the IUD, the Merina or something along those lines. I had 2. The first one lasted maybe 3 months and then had to be taken out because it was falling out, and the second one was completely out. I had sex while I thought my IUD was in, and the doctors pregnancy test said I was negative. Then, we gave up on the IUD. Instead I got the shot. It's been less than a month on the shot, and my period was 2 weeks or so late. Then I spotted for a while and yesterday all-of-the-sudden my flow was heavy, and "plop" something BIG fell out when I peed. I looked and it was white surrounded in specks of red. When I prodded it with something, I felt it was hard and unlike normal period clots. I KNEW it wasn't a blood clot because it didn't dissolve in water. I'm not completely sure, but I think it was a baby. Help? I know to contact my doctor but I don't want to call her about nothing. She's a busy person and I don't want to bother her about a big piece of tissue or something. Any opinions? Did I have a miscarriage?

  • Doing a project for my Honors English class, and I need to know what words are unique to Florida.?

I am from Michigan and I need to know what Florida's biggest (most used) slang terms are. Like...in Michigan we say "pop" instead of "soda" or "cola", and we also say "yoopers" to describe someone from the upper peninsula and "troll" for someone from the lower peninsula...

  • Good non-fiction books with theme of abandonment?

I need to find a non-fiction book with the theme of abandonment--where the protagonist becomes abandoned somehow (preferably by a parent or friend) and has to live with the feeling of being abandoned. Any suggestions? Any and all are welcome!

  • Any good suggestions on movies about abandonment?

I need to find a movie where the protagonist has been abandoned in some way. I'd prefer it if the character was abandoned by the mother or something, but I'll take any and all suggestions. Thanks.

I have been searching for SO long trying to find a good book that has the theme of abandonment, or a plot where the main character has been abandoned (preferably by the mother or parent) and has to live with feeling like a failure. Any suggestions? All are welcome.

  • Anyone have suggestions for an overly expressive piano song?

I really need a new song to play and learn (not in that order) because I've become bored with the two or 3 I have learned (moonlight sonata and fur Elise). Im looking for something very very VERY expressive and just absolutely gorgeous, and not necessarily classical. Please help. Thanks.

  • What are some really just "WOW" pieces for the piano? ?

So I'm a 15 year old girl who has been playing for a long time. I taught myself and just now started lessons, but I'm pretty advanced and bored easily. I need a new piece of music that will "wow" anybody I play it for, especially my boyfriend. He loves to listen to me play, but all I have right now is Fur Elise and Moonlight Sonata whih are both beautiful. I am looking for something overly expressive and just gorgeous to play. I need something I can really get into. Please please please help!!!!

  • Is it true that piano players are known for their long fingers?

I'm a piano player, and my fingers are pretty average. My fingers happen to be longer then my boyfriends, and he says it's because I'm a piano player, and piano players are FAMOUS for their long fingers. He's a bassist, and I'm pretty sure to play bass, you have to have long fingers too...so basically what I'm saying is that I wanna know who's right.
