I recently had a bankruptcy come off of my credit report; however, I have not had any credit cards in my name since I filed bankruptcy. I do have a couple credit cards that my wife is the primary on with me as a cardholder. My wife and I have bought a home, bought and paid off a car, I have school loans that are being paid monthly, and are in great standing with our credit card companies. My credit score is 726 as of a few days ago. I am nervous about applying for a good credit card as I do not want to be rejected but I want to start establishing credit in my name individually.

Should I be worried? Should I go with a secured CC? Or just be confident that my past 12 years have been good and go for a card that requires good/great credit score?

I have $1,800 left on a car loan for about 8 more months of $310 per month and I have about $6,500 on a credit card with a 0% apr for about 7 more months.

I have the money now to pay of the car loan and use what would be an extra $310 to snowball into the credit card debt to pay it down with out any other debt on the table. It feels like the way I should do it but Am just looking for opinions or sound professional advice.

December 22

Traded the old company truck for a new truck issuing check number 30106 to complete the transaction. The old truck cost $3800 and on Sept. 30 ( the end of the quarter) had depreciated $2200. Straight line Depreciation on the old truck is $40 per month. The new truck listed for $19950 and Auburn auto sales allowed a $3000 trade in allowance on the purchase of the new vehicle. This trade has no commercial and no gain or loss will be recognized on this transaction. ???

Stumped on a couple of problems, any help would be great. Thank you in advance!!!

December 23 issued check 30109 and purchased additional store fixtures for better display and security of merchandise. The equipment lists for $4200 with trade discounts of 40% and 10% and sales tax on the net amount. ???

December 24 sold a used piece of shop equipment for $1995. The equipment was purchased at a total cost of $7200 in 2001. using units of production depreciation the accumulated depreciation account balance at the end of the quarter is $2850 (sept. 30) Deprecation rate is $2.00 per hour of operation. to December 24 and additional 234 hours of operation have accumulated. Two entries are required to properly record this sale. ???

December 31 Sold for 9 3/4 the remaining 500 shares of the Ramblewood Manufacuring Corporation common stock that was held as a short-term investment. The commissions charge was $126. This stock was a part of a block of 1000 shares purchased earlier at a total cost of $9250. ???

Dec. 11

Sold old store equipment for $320 cash. The equipment originally cost $1,025 and depreciation to September 30 of this year (the end of the third quarter) totals $820. The Asset depreciates on a straight-line basis at a rate of $20 per month (two entries required).

Not sure what he was expecting to find. I have nothing personal at work, and live by not mixing personal and business. He looked like he was searching for something to say that would help but came up with nothing. Instead changes the subject and walks out.

Baffled

The Felony is a class C felony and is over 9 years old, the DUI however was one year after my Certificate of Discharge(7years ago) and in Washington state you can not have DUI taken of your record and because of the DUI I can not have my felony expunged.

Will this effect me from getting a license to be a Physical Therapist assistant in another state?

I can not be licensed in Washington and they will not look at the fact that I am not the same "kid" I was back then. But I know in Michigan you can apply and be reviewed, and then have the chance to explain it, the amount of time from the conviction, and then maybe they give you a chance.
