  • java program help?

create a Java program that will calculate a employee’s travel reimbursement for a meeting. Assume that the only reimbursement costs are one night’s hotel stay and mileage. The mileage reimbursement rate is $0.54 per mile. After calculating the reimbursement the program will print the mileage amount reimbursed, hotel amount reimbursed and total amount reimbursed onto the screen. Each item printed will be displayed on a separate line with a label, = and $, as shown below in red (note: the output shown below is an example, your values will be different). Prior to printing the mileage amount reimbursed, you will print 2 lines containing 40 asterisks per line (you must use a nested for loop in order to complete this task).

Use the value 115 for the number of miles travelled and the value 123 for the cost of the hotel.

You must make use of both variables and a constant in your program. Be sure to name your constants and variables appropriately.

  • Physic help please? http://carolinascienceonline.com/page.php/resources/view_all?id=forces_in_1_dimension&1?

Click on "Clear" and then "Yes." Enter 588.1 for the applied force and click "Go" and then "Pause" after a couple of seconds. Did file cabinet move? Why?

Look at the Total Force and Frictional Force lines of the graphs. The horizontal part of the line represents the coefficient of ________ friction and the sloping line (near t= 0) represents the coefficient of ________ friction.

What can you say about the sloping line near t = 0. Why is it doing that? (Hint: You may want to mention something about inertia.)

Move the gray (vertical) slider bar so it is over the horizontal portions of the lines and determine the frictional force Ff. Using the formulas above, calculate the coefficient of kinetic friction μ given the frictional force and the mass. Does it agree with actual value (right of screen)?

  • i need help with Physic plz?

Two students are working on the same constant acceleration problem involving a car undergoing constant acceleration, having started from rest and after a certain time having traveled a distance of 108 m. The students are to find the average velocity. Both students are required to show their work and round any intermediate answers as well as the final answer properly to 3 significant figures. Each rounded answer is to be used in the next step of calculation as they proceed. For the final answer, Student A uses the formula mc042-1.jpg getting the result 7.26 m/s, and Student B uses the formula mc042-2.jpg getting the result 7.29 m/s. Assuming neither student makes a mistake, which student has the better answer?

    a.

    Student A

    b.

    Student B

    c.

Under significant figure rounding, both answers are equally as good.

    d.

The described result cannot happen; this is physics after all.

  • plz i need help with physic i took online class and i lost with lab (The Moving Man) https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulation/moving-man?

What units are used for distance?

What units are used for velocity?

What units are used for acceleration?

What units are used for time?

Explain the difference between displacement and distance.

Explain the difference between velocity and speed.

Click Reset All (at the bottom right) and set the man's velocity to 0.5 m/s and click on Play button (bottom or under Velocity field) and then click Pause after 10 seconds (time is at the upper left of the window). If you miss, just click clear and try again or get around 10 seconds.

How far did the man travel?

When the man was at position = 2 meters. What is his velocity at that point?

When the man was at position = 4 meters. What is his velocity?

Why is the velocity the same?

At 5 meters, why is the acceleration equal to zero?

Click Reset All and set the acceleration to zero (it should already be zero). Click Play and then Pause after 7 seconds.

What are the values of Position, Velocity, and Acceleration?

Why are the values what they are?

Click Reset All and set the acceleration to 0.1. Click Play and then Pause after 12 seconds.

Is the velocity constant (same value) during the entire time?

If it is not constant, why? (Compare with acceleration = 0.)

If acceleration is greater than zero, the velocity increases, decreases or stays the same (think about this one)?

Look at the position graph. It looks parabolic. Why that shape? Hint: Does the position change at a constant rate?

  • i need help with physic plzzz ? lunar Lander?

    https://phet.colorado.edu/sims/lunar-lander/lunar-...

    Questions:

1.Click on the box next to "Vector" so it is checked (lower right)

2.Click "Start" and don't do anything. At what speed does the lander crash into the moon?

3.Click on "Reset" and attempt to make a soft landing by toggling the space bar. What happens if you give the Lander too much thrust? What happens if you give it too little thrust?

4.Once you land safely blast off then move left or right to a new landing zone. Describe the sequence of maneuvers that you must execute to get the Lander to move sideways and then carry out a soft landing that is nice and vertical.

5.What color is the thrust vector and what color is the velocity vector? How can you tell?

6.When landing, is it better to let the Lander fall most of the way and then turn on the thrusters to maximum to get it to slow down? Or is it better to have the thrusters on low the whole time to keep the velocity from building up to much?
