We put in an application to rent a home in AZ.We were told there was another applicant ahead of us and we were backup.We paid $140 to run credit x's 3 people.They ran theirs, then ran ours to compare but gave it to the other applicant. We lost our $140.00 Is this normal?

We rented an apartment, paid the security deposit and early move in fee, received the keys and moved in . about 3 weeks later another agent (asst manager) is telling us that we owe more money. And keeps leaving notices. I spoke to the original agent that we dealt with and she said we were "all square" didnt owe. I just received anther notice from the "asst manager" saying i have to pay this money. Advice pls. I live in AZ

I Live in CA. 2 yrs ago I lost my job after an on the job injury. Now that my workers comp case is settled, i will receive a cash reward ( and i wanna be smart about how I use this money). After being unemployed and on disability my credit is shot. My question is should I just continue to rent or should I try a lease option/rent to own till I get my credit together? I have to find a job and establish some sort of work history. My other thought was to purchase a small property to RENT OUT, to help me with income and build my credit?! I really appreciate any insight.

I just watched the wedding episode and it was beautiful. Ive cried during every show, but why is Gene considered the bad guy for not marrying her when he EXPLICITLY told her he did not want children or marriage, she cried that "every one got what they wanted but her" Why did SHE (shannon) put herself through that for 28 yrs?? I'm asking this while trying to research and understand the lease laws. I had to break my lease (with 4 months left) due to a total loss of income. I happily agreed to show the property until I left. One person in the property management company says the owner will let me out of the lease if i assist and they find a new tenant. When I asked for this agreement in writing the owner of the leasing company became very rude, told me no such thing was said and the person who gave me the information is on vacation ( i was never allowed to speak to this person again) A month after I moved out they did rent the house and sent me a bill stating that I owed them $2900. My question is this... am I entitled to the remainder of my deposit which is about $1000 after I settle the bill with them?

April 2010 I lost my job after an on the job work injury, but surprisingly with disability i was able to afford it and signed a new lease Sept 2010 (through coercion...owner has the right to raise the rent etc etc) Unexpectedly my disability has ended (i've never been on disability and did not familiarize myself with the time frame) and now I have no income and will have to live with friends for awhile, I am trying to physically get better and continue my education so that I become a productive citizen once again. Well the leasing company has become very rude because i cannot afford it anymore..even the owner offered to reduce my $1500 rent so that i can stay..of course i cannot afford this... so i understand that I am "skipping" out on my lease 4 months early but what recourse can they take (right now) if i have no income and I am not even sure when I will? I understand they can attach my wages in the future, but what is the limitation? Your answers are greatly appreciated

I don't want to be that person that just throws a relationship away on something that can get better. But will it? I have discussed this with him but he just "pouts" and then "acts real careful" around me so as not to offend me. Your input is appreciated.

when i flat iron it, it gets very straight and i cant get it to hold a curl...here's the problem, when its hot out (i live in the dessert) and my scalp sweats...it's an ungodly frizzy mess, *POOF*. Ive tried flat irons with "ion" technology, mousse, hair sprays, anti humidity everything, products to use before, during and after flat ironing it, hot comb etc etc. My question is, would a relaxer help me, or should i just give up and keep my old stand by: gel and hair ties and/or hair pieces? THANKS FOR ANY ADVICE!
