  • NY/NJ: why no marathon, but okay to hold Giants game?

    i don't understand why it was okay to still have the Giants game, but to cancel the marathon? both require scarce resources, police, many other support services. is it just because Giants are NFL and on tv? i'm not from the area ... maybe someone had a good explanation on tv or radio? thanks.

  • Is there an improved lie detector?

    Is anyone aware of advancement/ improvement for a possible future lie detector that would be totally reliable? Seems to me the technology is available to produce one; and therefore save a lot of court time, etc.
