I wasn't sure if this should go in Religion & Spirituality or Mythology. So I put here. Did the ancient Celts believe in a form of Hell? And if so, what did they call it?

I wish I could remember the story as well as the artist…

There once was a Greek artist who created wonderful pieces of artworks. He created sculptures that appeared so real, so full of spirit. He created wonderful, happy artworks.

However, as he aged, he got sick and displayed very little of his work. Many people thought that he was no longer creating artworks.

One day, they found him dead in his home. While exploring his home, they found a secret chamber. As they entered it they discovered dozens of what they thought were unfinished sculptures. This is something he was working on for a longer period of time.

The sculptures depicted human beings trying to break free from the Earth or human beings drowning in it. Some interpreted his work as the work of a depressed man trying to depict chained souls.

They believed that he tried to explain that no matter how hard you try to break free from everyday chains and live, you return to where you originally come from…

I wish I could remember the story as well as the artist

I remember as a child one Halloween sitting on my sister's lap in the kitchen at the farm. I remember we didn't have a TV, but we had a radio and one of the stations had a special because it was Halloween. I realize now that the original broadcast had happened in the 1930's, but this was like about 1952 and I remember the program that was one even though I was about 4. I just wonder if anyone else heard it. Maybe not then, but before 1952.
