    Has anyone used one of these loan modification companies? I keep hearing all these different reports. I am shopping them but I am scared of getting ripped off. Has anyone used one and if so what company was it, did they do what they said?

  • Homeowners Association filed to take home?

    I had payment arrangements for my homeowners association dues, I have been paying but not on time (husband ill with cancer) now they have turned over to attorney, I owed $300.00 now they want $1,400.00 they have filed to foreclose on my home. Any advice. Home is in Montgomery County Texas.

  • Texas Credit Card Debt, if the debt has been charged off and resold can the new collection agency sue you?

    My husband has cancer and credit card collectors are overwelming us. I settled a few for less than original amout owed but only have so much money and can't pay everyone at the same time. I know they have 4 years to sue but most are charged off and have now been resold. I need to know if the company who bought my debt can now sue me?

    Thanks for any help anyone can give.
