Once upon a time I was a Social Worker who's been in the fields of child welfare-adoption, school, crisis work for domestic violence and years in disability services (MR, MI, DD) I'm an adoptee / SAHM of 2 wonderful, funny, energetic, curious and head strong children. I have an 12 yr old son with Aspberger's and a 10 year old daughter. If feel so blessed to be a mom because I get to be a kid again but from a new perspective. My passions in life include God, my kids, my hubby, animals, reading, goofing on the computer, camping, swimming and the list goes on and on. If I could have a zoo I would love it. At one time we had 7 pets but due to old age and illnesses we are now down to 4. Formally having been a pet supply manager gave me a foot in the door to become a foster parent for the humane society. It's been so great to help other animals out of bad situations and into new lives with new families.
