  • Why doctors can't seem to get my medication right? Tired all the time.?

I currently take saroquel 600 mg @ night for bipolar, lyrica 300 mg - 3 times a day for fibromyalgia, Adderall 30 mg extended release in the morning, Burpar 15 mg - 3 times a day for anxity, Prozac 20 mg in the morning for depression. The saroquel seems to make me very sleepy and unmotived all day. The adderal just doesn't work like it use to when i first started taking it. I have tried so many different kinds of medications. I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm 25 have to small kids and a husband and just can't seem to pick myself up anymore and i can't seem to remember anything. Can anyone help me?

  • Does your department allow you to work "extra jobs"?

I am currently located in the southwest of the country, employed as a police officer. I'm looking to move back to the Midwest (Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio). I'd like to apply for a department that allows it's officers to work extra employment. This would entail tasks such as providing security, directing traffic, etc., for private companies or individuals. If your department allows you to work such jobs, I'd appreciate an answer.

The only reason I ask is because I'm an officer with a non-working spouse and a 6 month old baby and a second job for me is the only way we would be able to get by. As you officers will know, we don't make a whole lot of money patrolling the streets.

  • As a police officer, am I allowed to fly in the U.S. while armed and off-duty?

I'll be flying in September with US Airways and I am unable to find anything on the Internet with the guidelines set by the TSA. Anybody know what the law is, or where I can find it?
