  • What are the chances I have prostate cancer?

I am under 20 and the have been having post-void leaking problems for about 4-5 years. Today, my urologist told me that I have an abnormally large prostate for my age after having full ultrasound scan completed. Why are the chances that I have BPH (Benign prostatic hyperplasia) verses full-on prostate cancer?

  • What happened to my laptop's fan?

This night as I was just about to go to bed I did something that I don't usually do. Now, usually, I put my laptop to sleep, wait for it to turn off, and then set it on my side table before getting some shut-eye. However, this time I'd thought I would run a virus scan and set it to automatically go to sleep after it was done. Now, of course, browsing the internet on my bed creates a lot of heat and my laptop's fan constantly runs while doing so. So, as I set my laptop on my side table this night while it was on all of a sudden my laptop's fan made a horrible rattling noise. Scared, I blew into it and minimized the noise. It still runs and adequately keeps the laptop cool (I even ran a diagnostic) but, now it makes a quiet yet, disturbing rattling as I move my laptop--even gently.

Now, my questions are: Could the light shock of placing my laptop on my side table while it was on cause my fan to become off of balance? If it is, could I open up my laptop and adjust it back into place? Or, would I have to lubricate it with sewing machine oil? Could it be as dramatic as an entire fin breaking off the fan? (I actually had that happen to me along time ago) Also, how do I tell weather or not my laptop's fan is a bearing-based or sheath-based design? Lastly, how expensive would it be to replace my fan if there is no hope for it?

I use my laptop several hours daily and I really need it for college. My laptop is under warranty but, Dell lied to me when they said that they would replace my screen for free when it came in the mail brand new with bright pixels. I don't want to have to pay another hidden fee for fixing it.

My laptop is a brand new, still under "warranty" Dell Inspiron 15z Ultrabook.

  • Why did the contrast come out so extreme in my film?

I am a Film student and have been using a Krasnogorsk-3 "K-3" with Kodak 16mm B&W 7266 Tri-X Reveal Film at 24fps on a daylight spool using a daylight ASA of 200. I made sure that my light meter was set appropriately, I took multiple shots at several f-stops, and I used a tape measure to make sure my shot was in focus. However, my film came out with extreme contrast. The blacks were extremely black and the whites were extremely white. This only happened with shots made outside. Most interestingly, when I took a final shot (a shot that I didn't care much for and spent only 5min setting up) inside with an ASA that is meant to be used outside, the film looked absolutely perfect.

Could this be because I was measured my focus at the lens aperture instead of the spot of the actual film, could it be that I didn't watch my f-stops carefully, or could it be that I simply used old film stock? (I don't know the exact production date but, it says it was copyright 2009 on the film's box)

This wasn't a major issue but, it seams like everyone else's film came out much better even when shooting outside.
