I have an HP Pavilion g7. While im typing I hit somthing on the keyboard that turns on shortcuts. Once this turns on i can no longer type and end up having to restart the computer. What key am I hitting that turns this feature on, and how do I turn it off? Thank you.

Im using another brands 8G thumb drive that i have reconfigured. When i download the black ops expansion pack to the thumb drive it works fine. however once i turn off my xbox and then turn it back on it says there is nothing on the thumb drive and that it needs to be reformatted. I have done this twice. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

I was watching the movie We were Soldiers: Once and Young. All the Huey pilots are wearing Engineer branch insignia, not Aviation branch insignia. I realize that Aviation only became a branch in 1983. Before 1983 were they apart of the Engineer Corp?

Does anyone know the regs. that cover an active duty officer being promoted by a retired officer? In addition, what paper work I will need to produced to make this happen?

I will most likely be promoted to Captain (0-3) in July. My grandfather is a retired LTC (0-5). We are both Army. I’m trying to set it up so that he can promote me. I have been looking in US Code 10 but can’t find it in there. Any info would be a great help. Thank you.

I'm trying to locate the quick reference armbands quarterbacks look at in order to call play. Does anyone know a store that sells these? preferably on-line. I'm in the army, and I'm trying to get these for each one of my men, so they can use it as quick reference when we go on patrol. I saw this down at JRTC, and thought it was a great idea. Also please let me know any other little tips like this, if you have them.

Has anyone been though the prop blast ceremony in the 82nd resantly. This is the innitiation for all new officers to the 82nd. what can i expect?

I am in the army, and i am going to a marine wedding in two weeks. I was told they will be wearing their dress blues, and they wanted me to wear my uniform too. my question is should i wear my Class A's or dress blues? I figured since it isnt my wedding i shouldnt be in blues, but the blues would match their blues more than class A's. Is their any protocol on this, or is it up to me?

I have a ford ranger, year 2000, with the 2.5L engine. Recently the heating gauge is showing a drop in the engine whenever I accelerate. This also occurs when i turn the heater on. Does anyone know the cause of this problem? Is it a faulty gauge, or could the engine actually be loosing heat? I would think that would be impossible, because it happens when it is accelerating. Thanks for the help.

I am only asking in general how many there are. i dont want to know specifics. just ABOUT how many thousands. this is not OPSEC because i am not asking specifics about troop numbers in an area, im not asking dates of units going into theater.
