I bought a PS4 and it came with the USB charging cable and one controller. I bought another separate controller which doesn't seem to be charging. I'll plug one controller in and it'll turn orange right away to indicate it's charging. But when I plug the other controller in it doesn't change colors and if I leave it for a while and come back it hasn't charged one bit. What do I do?

i was asked to see if the first equation yeilds to the second equation.

first equation:

(3x - x^2) / (x^2 - 9)

second equation:

(-x) / (x + 3)

when i simplified the first equation i got:

(-x) / 3

so my answer would be false. The first equation does NOT yield to the second one.

Can anyone help me confirm my answer. And if im wrong can you please explain why i was wrong.

Last night i was on the freeway. And i accidentlly rear ended another car. But we were in traffic so the damages were very minor. My car is tough and barley got anything, but his car bumbper ended up with some minor scrapes on it because of how slow we were going.

We pulled over. Exchanged insurance information. Phone numbers. Licence plate numbers. And took a couple pictures of his car and my car.

Well after that we were both talking about it and i dont think he wants to involve insurance, and niether do i. We didnt call the police. We just sort of settled it between us and then left.

His car was not that bad AT ALL.....mostlly because we were moving at snail paces when i hit him. Scuffs along his bumper at the most.

- How much is this going to cost me when he quotes a couple places?

- What happens if he doesnt call me or anything. Can he sue me, or use my insurence information he has to get me into serious trouble?

im leaving for army bct on aug 24th....and i was just thinking the other day that i will be in training when the anniversary of 9/11 comes up this yeah in 2009.

What will they have us do that day.? Because i cant imagine them cancelling training for the day. But i knoe they will do something.

Hi. Ive been racking my brains on this one for a while. Im really into doing things that most people don't. That whole dinner and a movie. Or mini golfing Just does not cut it in my books.

I have a few ideas. But after that i draw blanks. One idea is The pool hall. I really do enjoy that atmosphere when i go with my Friends. Plus i see it as a way to have a little fun with competition.

The other idea i had for a first date is going to the creek / river. Theres a little one just out side my town. And its beautiful. I love the sound of the water and all the nature stuff. Plus the fact that your outside with a guy you like by yourself is cute to me. So much to talk about while there.

So my question is does anyone have any other ideas for first date or just first couple dates in general?? What was your best first date? why? whered you go?

im enlisted in the army reserves and in my contact i got 20K bonus, 20k student loan repayment, the GI Bill. and $350 Kicker. From what ive read and heard, as long as your a full student and grades are maintained, then you are sent a certain amount of money every month in a check. But i still have a couple questions about the whole thing:

1) Does the GI Bill and kicker only work with certain schools?

- because im leaning more towards the art institute rather then any universities.

2) Since i have the $350 kicker does that mean i will receive 2 checks every month? One for whatever i get monthly on the GI, and then one for the extra $350?

and

3) Exactly how and what is the 20 student loan repayment for?

- Im still a little confused about it because i know im still going to have to take out some loans for school. That's a given. But what does that 20'K Student loan repayment cover. How does it work. Monthly checks? the name itself may sound pretty self explanatory. ("Student Loan Repayments)* But i never like to assume anything. Especially anything regarding how my contract is going to work out in the end for me.

Im a 38B Civil Affairs Specialist in the US Army.

and i was assigned to the:

426th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne)

in Upland CA.

Does that automatically mean ill be on Jump Status?

Because that would be something im really interested in.

Is it something i can Volunteer for? To be on jump status?

US. Army. and my MOS is 38B Civil Affairs Specialist. But i also have to complete airborne school as part of my AIT. in Ft. Bragg NC. Does that Mean i receive the red/maroon Beret as opposed to the Black?

Im also not quite sure how the Airborne school is going to go down. What am i in for when im at Ft. Bragg jumping out of those planes? What is a daily routine for Airborne school? Any information would be appreciated.

My hair is, what i think, a wierd length. I cant put it into bun because its too short but im leaving to Fort Jackson SC in late march. So im not sure what options i have...i dont want to cut my hair anymore then it already is. This is how short it is right now:

I have an iPod touch and i love to use the notes section as my own personal diary. Its just alot easier than writting ish.

but the thing is i dont want other people to read them for obvious reasons.....some of my friends use my ipod or borrow it or something. and im scared that one day theyre going to go snooping around and find out things ive never wanted them to find out.

so i was wondering if there was anyway to lock the notes so that only i can see them and write in them when i want to. And no one else.

im currentlly in the navy DEP but they had promised me a specific job that i wanted and i didnt get it...instead i got some gunnary specialist or somthing like that....

but since i didnt get the job that i was promised now im having second thoughts.....this army recruiter im talking to already has an open position for the job i want and i want to knoe if its possible to enter the army DEP while im in the navy DEP....

my ship date for the navy is march of 09 but i dont want to have to wait till march of 09 till i can enter the army DEP

i was told that if i just didnt show up on my navy ship date to meps that would be fine....but it still doesnt tell me if its possible for me to be in 2 DEP's at once.

ive already made my desicion i dont want to go into the navy...i just need to knoe if its possible

Im goin to visit my friend who is in Camp Pendlton for now until he goes to NC for his MOS schooling.....but i need to knoe if there are any specific rules to entering the gates of the base....

does my car need to have anything specific???

are there things i can and cannot have??

will they just let me on base if i just tell them i have a friend stationed on base.???

okay.....today i finished ALL the stuff necissary at MEPS to enter the navy....got my contract and everything

but the problem is the job that i wanted in the first place was not available to me when my contract was being made...so now im stuck with the job of "Gunnery Mate"

i got a 70 on the ASVAB and passed all medical and EVERYTHING...but they still didnt offer the media and fils job that i wanted....thats the main reason i wanted to enter the navy

my recruiter was telling me that its possible for him to VOID my conrtact if i ever changed my mind about the navy. So im looking into the ARMY instead....they have a great Public affairs and Broadcasting field that is basiclly what i wanted in the first place. But my problem is i want to knoe if i can change branches from navy to army even though my contract wont be able to be void until march 17th, 2009

i mean...its possible for me to enter the army delayed entry program even though im technically still in the navy delayed entry program right??

i really need this for my personal values...but i just hate that the navy isnt offering me the job that i want even though i qualify for it...and i really want to just get the job i wanted in the first place even if that means switching branches.

please help...im confused..

my boyfriend just left me about a month ago for MCRD (Marine Corps Recruiting Depot) in san diego

i cant begin to explain how hard it is. hes not here with me and i dont have that one person that made me happy everyday, i dont have the one person that would make my days just by simply seeing or hearing from him. :[

since he left i find myself honestlly with nothing to do other than the skewl and work i was doin before he left me. i get frequesnt letter from him but its not the same. i am greatfull for the letters but for some reason they dont make me as happy as i thought they were goin to make me.

i dont knoe what to do....i cant even explain myself correctlly right now because im trying to get all my emotions out right now and there are just too many...

Im meeting with a recruiter in a couple days to discuss my navy options....

im very interested in the video production fields in general...not just the ones offered in the navy....but right now financially my family and i cannot help me accomplish these goals...

so what i want to knoe is if i join the navy and choose the careers in the news and media fields will they (NAVY) pay for all my education that i would take there in that field???

this way i could still have the career i want and the navy would be paying for it....

please....anyone with any sort of information on this would help....
