Which car should I choose?
I've finally settled my car hunt down to 2 cars, the first one is a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS, 6 spd auto, 50k miles, 2.4l 4cycl, with a rebuilt title for $9,000. Or a 2007 Mazda 3 hatchback, with 85k miles, auto, heated leather seats, iPod hookup, bose speakers also with a rebuild title and also for $9,000. The car is for my awkward tiny family lol (me, my fiance, our two dogs and my bearded dragon), whichever car we pick would be used for daily to work and school driving, occasionally taking friends out, grocery runs etc..., I've got a bit of a need for speed and I'd probably want to slam the car and put a turbo in. Your opinions are wanted!! Which car would you pick and why? And which sounds like the best fit for us?

1.The infield of a baseball field (the “diamond”) is a square, each side measuring 90 feet. What is the shortest distance from home plate to second base? What is the distance from first base to third? Show and explain your calculations rounding to the nearest hundredth. Are the two distances the same? Why or why not?
2.What is the area of an equilateral triangle whose sides measure 8 cm? Explain your calculations and the strategy you used to get your answer. It may help to draw a picture of an equilateral triangle. There is an extra step required on this one.
Thank you guys for your help

2 AnswersMathematics8 years agoHow to write a function rule for a given situation?
I'm trying to teach my little sister how to write functions, but I haven't had to do it in FOREVER. I think I remember but I need someone to confirm me being right or wrong.
So first it says "write a function rule for each situation" and the situation is;
"The total cost t(c) of 'c' ounces of cinnamon if each ounce cost $.79."
I did the equation and my answer comes out as "f(x)=0.79x" is that correct? If not, what did I do wrong and what do I do to fix it? Thank you all for your help! You guys are the best

1 AnswerHomework Help8 years agoI need advice from a parent?
You all are gonna call me crazy and say i don't know what I'm doing and all and i respect your opinions but nothing you say is going to change my mind, i just need advice on how to go about this. I'm 15 and I'm engaged and am getting married on my 16th birthday this July. But the catch is, my parents don't know. I'm planning to bring my fiance with me when we go to our lake house for spring break and again in the summer, and i want to tell them before spring break because I'd like to be able to stay in a condo instead of the house there, with my fiance. And no I don't want to just so we can have sex contrary to most parents belief. I'd just like to be able to relax and cuddle with my wife without my parents staring at us the whole time or complaining about what we're doing and I would like to sleep with her, but not for sex but because I love her with all my heart and love being around her and when we're close together in eachothers arms we both feel safe and happy. And we might as well start acting like we live together anyway now, because in July we're moving into an apartment together, and nothings changing that.Now to you parents out there reading, A.how would you react to your kid telling you this B.how do you reccomend i go about doing this?
