I have a video signal coming from a scanning laser system that is just the AC video, coupled by capacitor, so it loses its ground reference. I need to clamp the bottom of the signal to ground.

Any ideas?

They have all gotten so expensive, or they don't allow multiple parts (none of their business, anyway), or don't do gold fingers, or take forever.

I am receiving a video-based laser return via an APD and need to take the AC referenced signal and reference it to DC so I can add the sync. I have not been successful, so far. It still goes below 0v and gets into my sync signals.

Any ideas?

I am using a camera chip now that is not made any more, but there has to be a better way. The chip has to be able to be gen locked, as the polygon creates a master start-of-scan pulse.
