I go to school out of the country in a place with no roads with speed limits above 45mph but can be hilly. I am 6'4 and 225 lbs and need a bike, which is cheap, to get from my apartment to school, and the grocery store, occasionally carrying my girlfriend, who is 5'10.

Taxes in this country are high so these bikes seem very expensive, but that's life, and I plan on selling them back after 5 months when the semester ends, trying to break about even. This isn't a fun bike, it's just for practicality, and will also be my first motorcycle.

These are, from what I understand, very overpriced, but those are the options I have.

Is the 125cc powerful enough for me + girlfriend + groceries, not needing to get above 45mph?

Is it worth the $1,111 to get a used 250 instead?

Sorry for sounding like a total jackass here here, this could be a sensitive issue.

I'm a 6'5 guy and I think I'm decent looking, I try to be friendly with everybody no matter their appearance but on the rare occasion that I am approached by women, they are almost always overweight. I am in a relationship with a wonderful girl that doesn't fit that trend, so I'm not looking to flirt with or date anybody else but I was wondering what might be the reason for the commonality between people that approach me.

I keep hearing that a lot of girls like to feel "tiny" next to their guy, is it because I'm so much bigger than them?

Do heavier girls do more approaching than thinner girls who may just expect to be approached?

Do I maybe pay more attention to them than other guys?

I have never read or heard an objectively solid or convincing answer other than people shouting, "Because they're genetically modified!" or that they're "unnatural" or not tested over decades for safety, which, when broken down doesn't have a solid foundation for why they are definitively dangerous or harmful or bad for the world community.
