I already have a degree in Finance but wanted to pursue a major in engineering. Universities don't seem to like me. Why?

Yes, I am claiming my son as a dependent on my taxes- however, I entered the wrong SSN credential because I was basing his number upon what was written on his w2 (which was incorrect). Luckily, he spotted the error later on. Filed in early April via e-file with still no response from IRS.

So now we have two issues

1) His w2 information is inaccurate

2) The dependent section of my taxes is incorrect.

Where should we go from here? He has contacted his employer already to fix his w2 information. They should have a corrected one in a few days.

I drive a '97 200sx SE-R and I've been experiencing problems manual transmission recently. It seems that three of my gears, namely 3rd, 4th and 5th gear all started slipping recently.

I was toying around with my heel-to-toe downshifting one day, starting from 5th gear and descending down. I never downshifted from 2nd to 1st gear before so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I forgot the drastic difference in gear ratios between 2nd and 1st gear and downshifted while 2nd gear was at 5000rpm. In my car, the red zone is after 7,000.

My cars rpm gauge started bouncing around the red zone and when I realized what was going on (1.5-2 seconds later) I switched to neutral. My slipping gears started happening after that.

4th and 5th gear seem to slip when I am either going uphill or doing hard acceleration.

3rd gear only slips when I am doing hard acceleration going uphill.

Just in case there is curiosity, I am positive I am in gear and not just in neutral- when i shift to my neutral gear, my rpms always take an instant dive.

Sooo, I'm twenty years old and currently doing school and work full-time so there is seldom time for many social activities.

I've always been single and that hasn't been a problem up until a couple months ago when my hormones started kicking in.

This presents me a problem because I made a commitment to focus on my studies and work towards independence. Another problem is I become a little attached to a women if I start talking to them- so I try and avoid them if possible.

What's a fella gotta do to balance this out? I keep having these urges to get a girlfriend but I'm positive I'm not quite relationship-material yet.

What environmental circumstance do you think caused primitive apes to evolve to Homo Sapians over several generations? Why did it require the mental capacity of humans? Why did it make homosapians more reliant on tools to survive in their environment?

I see overwhelming evidence of organisms changing into a different species (species meaning a "group" of organisms capable of inbreeding) over GENERATIONS.

I think what's meant is if an organism (besides bacterias) can change so much over generations that it would eventually jump to another Phylum or Class? Was this phenomenon ever observed? If not, how long would it take?

What characteristic of humans disqualifies it from being a ring species? If two homogenous populations (if there is such a thing) were raised in completely different climates for thousands of generations, is there a possibility they would no longer be able to mate if brought together?

Okay, so I want to transfer from my CC after two years to Penn State's Aerospace Engineering Program. I went on their transfer site and found this:

"Aerospace Engineering (AERSP) (Start at any Campus and Finish: University Park):

No transfer admission at University Park. Applicants who have less than two years of attempted college coursework may apply for admission to the College of Engineering pre-major status (ENGR) at a campus other than University Park. No additional Requirements."

Why does it say "No transfer admission at University Park"? Does that mean I can't transfer there for Aerospace engineering? help!
