I'm in a baseball Keeper league. Scoring is for batters is : AVG, Runs, RBI, HR, OBP , Scoring for pitchers is : Wins, K's, Loses, ERA, WHIP

I have 7 players I am considering keeping but I can only keep 5. My best 8 players are:

Ryan Braun, Matt Kemp, Troy Tulowitzki, Zack Greinke, Felix Hernandez, Brandon Phillips, Justin Morneau, Josh Beckett.

I should definetly keep Braun, Kemp and Tulo. I was thinking I would keep Felix and Greinke but I'm not crazy about keeping 2 pitchers. I figure I should def not keep beckett. I was considering keeping brandon phillips insead of Greinke. What do you guys think, who would you keep.

For my computer engineering project without getting into our project in ot much depth, we need to take a voltage from our circuit design, send it via usb to a computer to be analyzed. Does anyone know what kind of software (free or not) is avaiable to help with the sending and recieving of a usb stream of data that would need to represent the voltage of our signal. We do not need it to be analyzing a stream of data in real time, it is sufficient for us to analyze a file of this data after the data has been collected and stored in a file. We will be writing our program in C/C++ because that is the code we are most familiar with. So anything in C or C++ related resources would be greatly apreciated. Also any resources that would help us with sending a analog voltage signal, via usb would be very helpful as well. Thanks.

Hey guys, I'm in a survivor pickem league. Pick one team to win per week, if you lose ur done, you can only pick each team once.

This week based on who I have left the only logical choices are Tennessee vs Rams. Baltimore vs Detroit.

Which team would be a better pick. Tennessee has been playing well lately, but The rams seem to be improving and I think they could be due for an upset. Also baltimore has a game against oakland that i could potentially pick in week 17, whereas this is probably the only remaining game where I would pick tennesse.

Baltimore just lost but I think that will motivate them this week as the lions are clearly inferior.

Tennesse seems like the logical pick, but something in my gut is saying they will lose. What do yall think.

Anyways based on the teams I've picked already, I was planning on using Atlanta this week (vs was), then New Orleans next week (at st louis), and Minnesotta (vs seattle) after that. however today I realized that Atlanta is coming off of a short week, and Washington a bye. I know that washington sucks, but is it too risky to pick atlanta. Especially because I could pick new orleans this week (vs carolina) and then minnesota vs det in week 10, however my options in week 11 would be weaker. Also in my first option, new orleans would be playing st louis coming off a bye, although st louis definetly sucks. Based on who i picked i would probably have to pick arizona or cinci in week 11.

Anyways which of the too options would u do, I'm leaning towards 1, i just dont like the whole bye week vs short week thing.

I am a young college student with no investing expirience, and I am interested in investing a little bit in stocks. I am a computer engineering student and have interned at several large companies and I have a few companies in mind that I think will do very well and would be worth investing. My question is simply what method should I go about purchasing stocks. ( I am not looking to invest that much money (500 or less) and I am looking more short term(2 years) )

Thigpen is on fire lately, and his only interception in the last 4 games came on the last play of last weeks game on a desperation throw. Oakland has also been playing the pass well lately, and been much worse against the run, which denver was suprisingly doing a lot last week. That said I dont think I can bench cutler vs oakland for thigpen vs buffalo.

dont get me wrong my team is decent, but with addai banged up, my recievers doing virtually nothing, and clark somewhat underachieving im very suprised to be in first place. ive been real lucky with matchups and had 3 wins by less than 4 points. opposed to last year where my Juggernaut first place team had brady, westbrook, braylon and andre johson, witten among others.

Im thinkin jackson, edwards and ocho. but im considering switching in holt for ocho or braylon. I think coming off a bye will help ocho eventhough its a tough matchup. and torry holt just sucks but what do u guys think

im all alone in second place, gaurenteed playoffs and should get a bye in week 14. The 1st place team has a really good team with excellent week 16 matchups: he has Peterson, Andre Johson, ronniebrown, brandon jacobs, santana moss and others. We put money for the league and nearly all goes to first.

I was talking to a friend of mine who has Marques colston and he said hed trade him for a running back. I'm thinkin of trading him Lendale for Colston, My recievers suck, and I have 4 good running bakcs and then flexing deangelo or a 4th reciever the rest of the year. Colston has a great week 16 matchup, whereas lendale get the steelers. Should i trade this receiver, and which running back would i be better off keeping deangelo or lendale. I'm feeling liek i should keep deangelo cuz hes got some good matchups and appears to be the fulltime starter from here on out. Or shoudl i just stick with what i got.
