My husband has been applying for a lot of jobs and some of them ask "what would you say is your biggest weakness?" How would you answer this question without making yourself look bad? He is in sales.

  • What can be done for allergic dermatitis?

One of my dogs has been diagnosed with allergic dermatitis. He is 2 years old and is otherwise healthy. The other dog does not have this problem, so it's nothing in the house. His problem is just with his ears. He scratches and scratches until he bleeds and scratches more. His ear margins are all dry and crusty and he has lost his fur around them. We have been putting vitamin E on them. The vet has him on steroids and a special food diet. As soon as the steroids are stopped, he starts all over again. I really don't want him on steroids for the rest of his life.

Does anyone know of any treatments we can do at home? I'm thinking we should go the holistic route. I can't bear to watch him in discomfort.

Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  • Does anyone know where I can buy an outdoor lighting fixture?

I want to replace my outdoor wall-mounted light by my front door. The one I have now also has an outlet on it. I find this very handy to plug in my weed whacker, etc. I can't seem to find an outdoor light that comes with the outlet. Have they been discontinued?

  • Pups peeing in the house...HELP!!!!!?

We have a neutered male and a spayed female. They are 9 month old pit bulls. Their names are Hannibal and Clarice. We have had them since they were 2 months old. We cannot seem to break them from going in the house. When we let them out in the yard, they will go. When they are in the house, they never ask to go out, they will just pee right where they are standing. Sometimes when they go out, they get so busy playing that they don't go and will go when they come back in.

We have not crated them (we think it's cruel) and they are getting so big now, that we couldn't afford to buy them two big crates anyway. We have had to rip up all of our carpets because of the urine. We have tried the "bad dog" and put them outside immediately. Doesn't seem to stop them for the next time. We had tried the housebreaking pads, but they tear them up. We tried the pee on command and sometimes it works, but they still go inside.

We are at our wits end. Does anyone have any ideas???? PLEASE

  • An "In Voting" tab...?

It would be much easier to vote on answers if there was an "In Voting" tab. Maybe answers would get more votes if people were aware that certain questions are in the voting stage.

How 'bout it? What do you guys think? :)
