  • Clinical hours for social workers?

    What was/is  your process in obtaining clinical hours towards your LCSW? 

    Eg. Was it offered through your employer or did you contract an LCSW. 

    I also wanted to know if obtaining a part-time fee for service position make the process for licensure too long.

  • can i work in immigration with a social work degree?

    I am majoring i social work and minoring in psychology. I know my chances would havebeen different if i majored in international affairs. I want to know the steps i would have to take after undergrad to work in immigration, maybe as a caseworker. The only further degree i would get is a masters.:

  • i have a decision to make and i don't know which one i should pick?

    one of them is booking a flight too Florida in January for two weeks and the other is taking driving lessons . the choice is difficult because ultimately the driving lessons will cost more considering that i want to take the package of ten lessons. I live in New York so commuting is never a problem with the mta system but learning how to drive will ultimately gain me more independence.Can you offer me some advice on what i should do?
