I'm doing my GCSEs. I have less than a month until my March exams. I'm pretty academic I know I can achieve my desired results but I can't seem to start revising. I keep getting distracted. Any suggestions?

I was on a social networking site the other day and I happened to mention that I am from England and just because I'm British people started asking me if I said things like " 'ello." Similarly, I recently read a book by an US author about an American family living on the outskirts of London. The main character was 15 years old, therefore she was in Yr 10 but instead of speaking normally, the other students were saying things like 'cheerio' and 'tallyho' etc. I'm 15 and I live in London and I can confidently say that I know nobody who speaks in that manner unless they are taking the piss. I merely want to know where this misconception originated from. Thank you for your time.
