I live in texas. There was some shooting incident in my apartment complex and after some time a police office came to my aprtment saying my car is hit by a bullet. My car window shield and body was pierced by 2 bullets.

I have complete geico insurance with:

- Comprehensive (Other Than Collision)

- Collision

Is this something covered by insurance ?

Any advise on what information should I collect before filing the claim ?
