If nice guys always finish last who finishes first in a race of nice guys?

yes yes, i know the arguments from physics, but time doesn't exist like you and i exist. its not a force, its not an emotion or a type of consciousness, if all humans died would time still happen? how did this concept come to be? what is time based on? ultimately our beginning and end of an individual life, then cut into easier to manage chunks called days and months. time is not tangible nor to we see or feel effects like light or gravity or matter or a vacuum. analogy time! a ruler is to inches as a clock is to time. inches don't actually exist but we use it as a type of measurement. the tool exists but not the concept. whats more, is that time doesnt even run our "time keeping" devices, gravity and matter does... lol. any insight will be helpful in my conclusion.
