Its a short dream, it went from another dream that i dont remember, but i end up at a church, an old white wood church out in the countryside, no other building in sight for miles. I remember thinking how alone i felt with no humanity near me, because i live in the city, always have.

I at am the side door to this church and i have to go through it and out the front door to continue my journey through the dream. i cant go around. I enter the church and immediately realize that it is tainted, and isnt a holy place anymore. I remember the pews being filled with demons and creatures of darkness of all shapes and sizes, and they emanated a feeling of extreme hatred at me. I refused to look up towards the altar because there was something worse there. I had to walk from the side to the middle isle, then down it to the back doors, essentially going through them, and i remember not trying to show fear because i was terrified and didnt want them to feel power over me, and the same time i was so scared that i was almost besurk with fury. I made it outside, i walked half a mile away, and saw an actress from the 70s, and she said she had to go in there, i told her she didnt have to, but she was very sad and said she had no choice. i tried to reason but she couldnt go with me. i started to walk away and woke up.

starts with me deciding to go to Penn and Teller show in an arena. seats are full, the rest of us just sit on the floor.

There is a female next to me,keeps trying to interest me in her and is obnoxious to me repeatedly. Meanwhile unfunny comedians are up on stage, and they end and still waiting for Penn and Teller, then one of the group i am with has to go, because he is a doctor.

I go with him. A bunch of us get in a car, and its a Model T and we are now in the 1920s, the road is rutted, there are no street signs or street lights or lamps, its getting dark and all you can see is what the dim car lights show.

We start passing accidents with guys in suits laying on the ground, in blood pools, run over by other cars, and there are guys and women in old dresses that keep trying to wave oncoming cars away from their loved ones who are lieing bleeding and broken on the road, all over the place. We avoid all but one guy and run over him.

Finally make it to the accident the doctor needed to get to, and it has suddenly changed from summer to winter and there is a large tan barney body partially buried in the snow. i sarcastically sing "i love you you love me" and the doctor says right? about time. then he starts to pull the body out of the snow and i help, and it turns into the front scoop part of a backhoe and we right it. i then say im going home because i dont want to go through that dead and injured gauntlet again, and the show sucks. others arrive, and i then wake up.

The only scene i remember is two people in a boat, perhaps a father and son or grandfather and son, and one of them dives in the water and the nuke goes off and the one under the water was protected from the radiation and the one in the boat starts to die of it, thats all i remember. anyone know that one?

At the moment i am considering, via steam, either dawn of discovery or patrician 3, because i am looking for a commerce building game without a lot of warfare, but i dont want to be drowning in micromanagment details. i would also be ok with it being space based, i just want to start small and build and expand. the railroad stuff and the sims dont do it for me.

I remember the end, where the guy is trapped in plaster of paris in the back of a van, the van goes around a corner too fast, he falls out and the full body cast breaks up into dust and pieces, he picks himself up, all covered in white dust on his business suit, and happens to be in front of his work place and its early morning, so he just goes in and starts working at his computer cubicle, all covered in white dust.

I am using the battleblood house in whiterun to raise my speech skill. Simply entering the house causes them to rush up to you and demand you leave, and if you dont leave, after a few seconds they call the guards. i then leave and walk a little and then a guard rushes up to me to arrest me, and here is where my question comes in.

At times they say something like " in the name of the jarl you have to etc etc justice" and then the dialogue screen comes up and one of the choices is persuading them to let me go. They let me go and most of the time my speech raises a level ( i am now 53 or so). But, at times the persuade is not in the dialogue, it only gives me the fight choice, the go to jail choice or the bribe choice, and i end up paying the bribe but nothing raises from that.

So, what determines which dialogue screen comes up, with or without the persuade option?

It had stories like twilight zone, or beyond reality or something like that. The episode i recall had a guy on a planet that was mainly jungle and it was raining all the time, and they had little buildings they called sacntuaries or something where they could get out of the rain and get supplies and such, and this guy's sanctuary was destroyed due to a storm or some such, so he had to get to the nearest one, and if they stayed out in the rain, eventually the constant rainfall could drive them insane. The only thing else i remember is he eventually passed out and woke up and i dont think he was actually on a jungle planet but a dry one where they was no water. im not sure about that last bit, but i know there was some sort of twist.

I am not sure if my assumptions are correct, but here goes;

The stars that nova/supernova and become neutron stars, i am wondering if they all go through a stage of being a magnetar before becoming a neutron star, or is a magnetar a special event.

I like both bands, listened to them in the last 70s early 80s and wondered why some people are dismissive of them as being corporate bands, and what exactly does that mean. they played the instruments and sang the songs.

I have been reading about how technology and industrialization correlate to lower population densities, as witnessed in europe and the united states, where except for the immigrants, the populations are getting older and more are dieing than being born.

Given that china, india and parts of south america are just starting a tech and industrialization boom, will they also eventually see negative population growth and what does that intimate for the future of homo sapiens.
