  • ? about testing blood for DNA info?

I was thinking about this the other day. I was wondering if a person recieved a blood tranfussion and then soon after committed a crime where blood evidence was left behind and successfully recovered, would it be possible that the blood donor could be identified instead of the person committing the crime? I know that this would be very unlikely but I am wondering if it would be a possibility. I understand that a blood transfussion does not involve total replacement of a person's blood. I am just wondering if it would be possible for tiny blood specimen that could be used to test for DNA be the donor's. Again I know this is very unlikely, just wondering if it could be hypothetically possible.

  • Spatter Analysis/Forensic Scientist/Lab work?

I am wondering how I would go about finding out if there is a demand for this type of work. I already have gone to school and got a degree in something that turned out not to be a real possibility. To answer the question that you're probably thinking, yes I do watch Dexter, BUT I just started watching the show two months ago. I have been interested in this for long before I ever even knew of this show.

  • Question about Ethics in the work place?

I work at a rehab center (physical rehab). I have a patient that is a PhD who teaches and creates and edits programs for some large Universities, along with being the Director of an organization. This patient, upon working with me, has offered to write me letters of recommendation and is offering help such as guidance, consultation, and further assistance, all non-financial and intangible towards my education and eventual advancement. I am wondering if there would be any conflicts with any ethical "rules" if I accept.

  • Directv not paying damages they agreed to pay, what can I do?

Here's my situation: On Jan. 4th my home and car were damaged by a Directv employee working on my neighbors house. He failed to properly secure his latter so when there was a strong gust of wind it fell over first putting three holes in the siding of my house and then hitting the back of my car before landing on the ground. Directv has acknowledge the incident and have stated that they will pay for damages but after 3 months will not send compensation. I email several times a week and get the same email in response apologizing for the incident and giving me a number to call. I call the number several times a week and get nothing. The number they have given me is the number to their claims department and it goes directly to a voice mail box where it asks for information and they will call back. The issue is that they don't call back. Can anybody PLEASE help me with any options I have left in recovering the damages? ANYthing will help. Thank you.

  • Question about a resume and getting attention from an employer?

Heres my problem, I worked for several years at one of the top rated hospitals in the entire country as a CNA. I was in charge of training new employees and did lots of extra jobs that were not in my job description in hopes that it would help in getting a job after I relocated. I was also a representative on a safety board. My experience is very wide ranging from children to geriatrics with every imaginable illness. I am wondering what I can do to get this info to work for me. I also am about to start school for RN. I understand the economic situation, I am just looking for any type of advice that could help me. Should I not be giving some of this info? Is some of this info something that will make a prospective employer not want to interview me?

  • Where should we go on Vacation?

Heres our situation. We are expecting a nice some of money, approx. $7000. We are using some of it to pay off student loans, but with the remainder we want to go on a nice vacation. We've gone to Aruba and Jamaica and although we loved Aruba and liked Jamaica, we are looking for something different. Can anybody give us any ideas? Europe, Asia, Africa, the South Pacific, and South America area all places we want to go so nowhere on the globe is off limits for us. This is probably a once in a life time vacation as we are just middle class and dont see many of these opportunities in the future. Where would you suggest?
