  • IM trying to prelube me new engine?

I need to prelube my engine and I dont really know how. So i was wondering if some one could give me step by step instructions on how to do it WITHOUT using a drill on the oil pump.I dont have a drill and i cant not get a drill so im not going to use a drill. But i heard there was a way i could do it with removing the spark plugs and something like that. If anyone knows how i would appreciate the help. Thank you.

  • i know this is a dumb question but still?

so i just bought a 302 for my mustang and im trying to add more oil but im not sure which valve cover i should put it in. It didn't come with a breather cap on any of them but I believe its the passenger side where I put add the oil but im not sure. Does it matter what side i add it to?

  • Metal shavings in my oil pan?

I drilled out a little plug in my timing cover so i can place my dipstick in there.

I tried cleaning up most of the shavings before the hole broke through but some fell through into the oil pan. the shavings are as small as thick dust will it affect anything in my engine in anyway?

  • I heard a loud thud while working on my engine.?

While I was attaching my engine to my transmission I heard a loud thud as I was tightening my bell housing bolts? Any idea what it could be? Could it be my torque converter snapping in to place under the pressure?
