Am I horrendously ugly or just ugly?

I'm 19 and want to begin dating. This want began one year ago. I work, go to school, and remain studious. However, when I do try to communicate with others, I blank out and freeze, especially when we have no common ground. Even my parents wonder when will "he" begin dating. I just want to know if I'm butt ugly or just regular ugly.

  • Seriously, I want to end my life?

This is my second time battling depression during the springtime. I don't know how to properly express my emotions, and that's always been a problem for me. I'm in my second semester of college, and it's going well. I don't have any friends, but that's always been the case since junior high school. No social skills at all. None at all. One step closer to an Asperger's diagnosis. I am a writer for the school's newspaper, and have been writing since I was fourteen; I want to work for Marvel as an editor after college. I even received an award from Twentieth Century Fox and was offered an internship that I had to turn down due to me switching schools, which made me even more depressed. Now, I have writer's block and it's killing me. I've always been a shut-in. I only have one friend. I can't speak without someone speaking to me first. When I try, I stutter even when the idea and delivery was fresh in my mind. As a cashier, I walk into work with a dull expression on my face. Sometimes, it feels like I cannot get through the day without someone asking me, "What's wrong?"When I walk outside, my mind is bombarded with inappropriate thoughts and altered versions of songs I've listened to, especially when I'm around people. Every female I've liked has becomes bane of my existence for a while, and they don't even know it. I have no energy. There's no space to write more. Marvel Comics/Studios is my only reason for living, but I still feel the need to decease. Thanks for reading.

  • Is computer science for me?

Hello. I am a college student, almost entering my second semester in college. The following semester, I changed my major to computer science from theater. This was due in part to how I thought a theater degree wouldn't help me in the long run, and how interesting computers are.

However, I am nineteen years old, and not experienced in the realm of computer programming/science at all. In addition, the highest level of mathematics I know is the basics of trigonometry, but am open to learn more with the right instruction.

I am currently set to attend CSULA in the spring of 2017.

Is computer science right for me?

  • How to Find an Artist for My Comic Book Script?

I am a 17-year-old writer residing in Los Angeles, California. I enjoy writing screenplays, short stories, and other form a literature in my spare time.

Recently, I have completed a comic book script featuring a character of my own design.

However, because of a lack of a decent artist, it can't be brought to life. In addition, I want to either self-publish the book, or pitch it to those of the likes of Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, etc.

Being an adolescent, I can't compensate for any willing parties.

I would like to find an artist, and I need assistance.

Please, and thank for your time and consideration, fellow answerers.

  • Poll: Has anyone made you angry by telling you the obvious?

For example, someone tells you that the sky cannot turn red, and can be different colors. You already know the sky changes based on the weather, but you know the sky was red, even for a clear second. That pisses me off.

  • Poll (Girls): What if I told you this?

It's a beautiful evening. The luminscent moon has not yet revealed itself. We're lying down on a large green grass field, and there is a soft, gentle breeze that sweeps our faces, and carasses are bodies. Each blade of grass reflects the beautiful hue of the sunset, which boasts streaks of dazzling orange, hazy pink, and deep blue. I, slowly, take my smooth, strong hand, and hold yours, as if it's only you, me, and the universe. We accept each other, regardless of who we are, and the world we have found ourselves in. What would you do next, as the stars begin to shine brightly in the sky, corresponding with the unsettling presence of the moon, and our decently-sized, but quaint country house is directly behind us?

    Would you:

    A) Return home with a strong recollection of this romantic day.

    B) Make it even longer by jumping into bed, and confirming your unity with Mr. Lance?

  • Metta World Peace, seriously?

Is anyone else a little thrown off, by this? By "thrown off", I mean curious, as to why he would choose such a name. I didn't even know who he was, until someone told me it was Ron Artest, two years after changing his name, but, then again, I don't follow basketball.

P.S.: I'm changing by name to Betta Global Warming (sarcasm).

  • How's the math on the CHSPE?

I've taken the California High School Proficiency Examination before, and passed the English section, with a 375, 397, but failed the math portion, with a 312, and only 17 questions correct. Of course, at the time, I was fresh out of the traditional high school system, and began independent study courses. During this time, I studied all of the wrong things, and that, alas, resulted in such a low score.

Now, it's June 5, and there are ten days until the CHSPE June 15th administration, and I've studied everything, from Pre-Algebra, to Trigonometry, and the clerks that I called said, the math corresponds to a tenth grade, or geometric level. Though I've taken the test before, I've pretty much forgotten what was on there.

    How was the math?

  • Poll: What does this joke mean?

A girl makes a bet with her friend that she can eat twenty hot dogs in under two minutes. So, the girl begins eating, eating, and eating until her mouth is stuffed with hot dogs, but she loses the bet by two.

The first girl, who didn't eat, tells the girl, "Ha, you lost." The second girl goes, "I can't handle this many wieners, I'm not a Kardashian."
