Sudden Breast Engorgement? 2 month old baby?
Okay. I'm not a novice to nursing as I nursed my first son til 15 months, but this has me puzzled.
My second son is now 2 months old and I nursed my now-16 month old through the pregnancy, so I never got engorged when he was born as I had a steady supply already.
Now, nothing has changed in his sleeping patterns, he still wakes plenty at night and nurses a lot during the day.. So I can't understand why I'm suddenly engorged and leaking all over the place, day and night? Anyone have any ideas?

I'm 36 weeks with my 2nd and was sitting at 3cm and 50%. I was induced with my first, sohave no idea what to look for. Personal experiences? Im having waves of lower back pain that make me rock through them and been losing blood-tinged mucous for a couple days.

2 AnswersPregnancy10 years agoWhen did you preregister for your delivery?
Just curious as to how far along you were before pre registering at the hospital you were set to give birth in? I'm 33 weeks and thinking about going to do it this week.
8 AnswersNewborn & Baby10 years agoWhen did you begin seeing your baby's movements on the outside of your belly?
During your second pregnancy especially... I'm 22+5 according to a dating ultrasound at 8 weeks, but my little boy seems so strong for still being so small. I can watch his movements on the outside and have been feeling definite movements for a good 6 weeks.
When did you begin getting entertainment from your little one?
Oh, first pregnancy, I didn't feel him move til 23 weeks and didn't see anything until around 28 weeks.
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby10 years agoHow much stringy discharge is normal at...?
22-23 weeks pregnant? I never had discharge like this early on with my first pregnancy, but lately I've had stringy mucous discharge. Sometimes it's whitish like the type you get during ovulation, but recently it's been brownish. If it is small pieces of the mucous plug, is it normal to lose a bit this early on (I know it regenerates, but still).
Thanks.
1 AnswerPregnancy10 years agoStatistically, how many infants...?
Get colic, in total? Do more breastfed or formula fed infants get colic? Just wondering if there have been any studies to correlate feeding method with the instance of colic.
1 AnswerNewborn & Baby10 years agoDid your belly button pop out while pregnant?
With my first son, mine didn't, but got really tight and small. I'm 21 weeks with my second son and was wondering what the likelihood is of it coming out this time. It seems like it might..
So, did yours, with any of your pregnancies?

13 AnswersBaby Names10 years agoWhat unusual things have you given up as a parent?
We all know as a parent, there are things that get pushed to the side and early on, a daily shower is considered a luxury. But what unusual thing(s) did you not expect to have to give up when you had your child?
For me, I take migraine medication, but since it makes me so drowsy I have to gauge when my 9 month old will be going down for a nap, since I can't sleep when he's awake. Before this, I could just take it whenever I felt the pain coming on without much worry.
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby10 years agoMigraine meds safe for pregnancy AND breastfeeding?
Im breastfeeding my son and Im 14 weeks pregnant with our second and Ive been waking up with the worst migraine headaches ever! When I stand or lift my head straight, my head feels like its exploding. Its been a few hours now and Tylenol doesnt begin to touch the pain..
What else is safe to take? Any sites to look at?
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoExperiencing RLS symptoms at 14 weeks pregnant?
Anyone else have this problem? Its keeping me up all night, which doesn't work well having a 9 month old to care for all day. I'm afraid its only going to get worse as I get farther along. So trying to find a remedy that helps now, before it does get worse. Any tips that personally worked for you?
2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoHow was your 2nd labor? ?
I love reading labor stories and now that I'm expecting my 2nd baby, I'm looking forward to my pregnancy all over again.
How was your 2nd labor? Was your 2nd baby bigger and did you go overdue the 2nd time?
Also, I'm thinking of waiting to find out the sex until birth... what do you think?!
8 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhat was your 2nd pregnancy like?
Was it better or worse than the first? Also, share your labor experiences with the 1st compared to the 2nd. How old were you with each?
My son is almost 7 months and just found out we are expecting our 2nd. So a bit unplanned, but happy nonetheless.

I have a 6 month old and just recently found out I'm about 4 weeks pregnant with our second. I'm still breastfeeding my son and was curious about continuing until he is atleast a year, which will make me around 6.5 months pregnant.
Any info or tips?

Anybody have experiences with having children 16 months apart? How was your pregnancy while caring for your other growing child? Pros? Cons?
6 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhat is with all these people...?
Spewing nonsense that I'm spoiling my child?! Its making me sincerely frustrated. I've done hours of reading of the different methods of parenting and I've come to the educated conclusion that you cannot spoil an infant. Where does this thought originate from? What makes people think that answering to your childs cries can spoil them? I knew that's what I signed up for when I became a parent. I, for one, cannot sit and just listen to my son scream without trying to figure out what's wrong. How can you have a heart and do so?
Btw: he's just 6 months and I'm an avid breastfeeder and cosleeper.
