So in action potential/ resting membrane potential the sodium channels close before the potassium ones. What would happen if sodium channels took a long time to close?

So I asked this girl on a date 1 year ago and she didn't seem interested at all. I see her at all these parties and say hi and she is nice but still kind of cold towards me. 1 year later she now seems more nice and friendly to me at parties and stuff and started following me on instagram, but she still doesn't make the effort to approach me, I always have to approach her. Is she just shy or socially awkward maybe as well?

They don't even really have to be great friends or anything I mean just acquaintances that they have known for a long time like(all there life to 1 year) or someone they just met.
