2 AnswersOther - Pets8 years agoHow do I get my dog to be nicer?
I got a small terrier mix dog about 2 months ago. I have 4 small children and the dog is nice to the kids and to me and my husband. He doesnt attack us or growl at us in any way....... HOWEVER when I take him on walks he will bite anyone who gets close to him, people and animals. I have to warn people to stay back. Some people think oh he wont bite and stick their hand out and he attacks. I do not understand why he wants to attack every person and animal he sees. Will he turn on our family? He seems very tolerant of my kids and has not shown his teeth to any of us as of yet, but what concerns me is his lack of friendliness towards other people.

4 AnswersOther - Pets8 years agoHas anyone gotten pregnant after having their tubes tied?
I have had my tubes tied for about a year now, and I heard somewhere that there is a chance a woman can still conceive after her tubes have been tied. Is this true? Has this happened to anyone you know? Reason I ask is because I am seriously afraid of child birth, and getting pregnant scares me.
1 AnswerPregnancy8 years agoWhen is it safe to transfer fish from the plastic bag to the bowl?
I bought really tiny neon fish to go in a 1 gallon fish bowl. How long do I need to let the bag sit in the water before the fish are adjusted to the temperature?
4 AnswersFish8 years agoCan any one explain this phenomenon?
Last night my daughter had a dream that I was being eaten by a bear and I was dieing from the attack. Last night I also had a dream that I was laying on a road dieing from some sort of accident and my daughter was leaning over me crying while I was dieing from my wounds. My daughter is 7 years old... What do you think this could mean? We both dreamed I was dieing of an accident during the same night. We did not watch any movies or TV shows that had bears or people dieing in them.
4 AnswersDream Interpretation8 years agoHas this ever happened to anyone when they are trying to sleep?

4 AnswersPsychology8 years agodo they like me or..?
I know rabbits dont like being picked up much, but I pick them up once a day to brush their fur and pet them for about 15 minutes. My question is this, they run when I go to pick them up, but when they finally surrender and let me pick them up they will let me hold them and brush them. They wont try to get away, and they will just be still the whole time I pet them... Is this because they are terrified to move or is it because they trust me/like me?
1 AnswerOther - Pets8 years agoAre my rabbits mad at me?
I will pick my rabbits up when they are in a "submissive" mode or "surrender mode" They will not fight me when I pick them up when they are in this mode. I will put them on my chest and caress their ears and talk to them. They will poke their heads up and sniff around while I am doing this. I will hold them for about 10 minutes. When I go to release them they do not struggle. They just flop away when they hit the ground. But my question is this... when they get on the ground they thump really loud and hope away into a corner. Are they mad that I picked them up? If so, how long will it take them to realize I will not harm them?
1 AnswerOther - Pets8 years agoIs my rabbit pregnant?
I have a male and female rabbit... I have not been able to fix them because they are to small for the anesthesia. I spread newspaper in their pin so that I can tare the parts the urinated on off and put it into their litter box, to litter box train. Recently my female rabbit has been shuffling the newspaper into a corner and has made a burrow or a hutch. I have had the rabbits for over a month and this is the first time I have seen her do this. My question is, is she simply making a bed/shelter for herself or is she building a nest?
2 AnswersOther - Pets8 years agoDo my rabbits like me or are they just submissive?
I am not sure if my rabbit likes me or is just being submissive. I have 2 bunnies, and when I get in their pin they will thump and run around in circles. I will sit in the pin a while and they will come sniff me and go about their business, eating, laying down, drinking, ect ect... When I pick them up they wont struggle to get down, but they will sniff really loud and look around. They havnt tried to bite me or anything like that. I am just unsure what they think of me.
1 AnswerOther - Pets8 years agoAnyone own a pet bunny?

3 AnswersOther - Pets8 years agomy dog has worms and I have small children?
I just got a puppy a week ago and I found out today she is infested badly with hook worms. The vet said that they can have thousands of eggs in there feces. I also found out that humans can contract these worms.. Well, she is a puppy and is not house trained yet. So she has pooped all over the house and outside. I am worried that my 4 children who are under 6 will contract these worms as they walk around barefoot in the house and kiss the dog. Should I give the puppy away? The vet told me that once the ground is invested it is really hard to get rid of the worms.
2 AnswersDogs8 years agoMy son had an abnormal EEG?
My son had an abnormal 1 hour EEG, so the neurologist wanted to have him do a 48 hour EEG to see if they can find out more. My daughter has epilepsy, so they wanted to make sure it is not seizures. They are sending my son home after 24 hours of the test, is this a good sign that there are no seizures? My daughter never got sent home early on her EEG's.. although she had a different doctor. What exactly would be abnormal about the EEG if it is not seizures?
