Going in June and am staying near tenderloin on western side of union square (O'Farrell street) - hear it is a pretty seedy area at night. Is it as bad as what I have heard?? One for the locals.

  • Small town life is Strangling Me!!?

Have been back in Oz for a couple of years after having a stint in London. Really want to head back over as I loved it there and have never been happier. Am really struggling to get back into the swing of things here. Am married - no kids and wife really wants to settle down and stay in our country town. Is this normal?? Some days I just want to escape and have been feeling restless for awhile. Love my wife and want to do the right thing by her though too.

  • Should I Stay or Should I go?

Living the suburban life in OZ and am feeiling like a cat on a hot tin roof. Want to head back over to London where a lot of my friends still are and see more of the world. Life is too short! Wife wants to settle down and have kids etc. Have spoken about it a few times but neither of us will budge - am getting to a stalemate at the moment and am feeling like I am going through the motions

Not that I mind paying bills - hard to put into words but being stuck in the same place and knowing that this is where you will be for a long time and have kids and settle down. I feel like a bit of a freak because i am 29 and should be ready to settle down and have kids but i am not. I just want to travel and live life not be worried about doing renovations on the house, get the next model plasma or any of that ****. Does anyone out there know what i mean???
