Ok so shes panting and shaking and wants to go on my bed so i let her, when i touch her she feels about the same temperature as me.She doesnt want to eat but hasnt thrown up.Shes already 56 days pregnant and shes a standard dachshund.Are these signs of early labor??And if they are then when can i be expecting the puppies in 24 hours??76???Please help and thanks inn advance.

i adopted a a 3 year old pregnant dachshund from the shelter 2 weeks ago. She is now a month and a week pregnant.In case you are wondering how i got a pregnant dog from the shelter is because I was there trying to find a dog to adopt, when they brought her in and I immediately fell in love with her. I told them that i wanted to adopt her right away and they said that she needed to stay a bit because she was pregnant and they were going to spay her and i said no because i don't believe abortion is right for either humans or animals. Ive taken her to the vet for her check ups and to make sure everything was fine. Today though, she "adopted" a stuffed monkey.Im worried because ive heard this is a sign of false pregnancy but already two vets have confirmed her pregnancy. If i try to take it away she takes it back. Im worried that she might not take care of her real puppies when they come in 3 weeks. Should i take it away or let her her keep it?

*The puppies are not intended for financial purposes to sell them. They have future safe homes already with my a few of my close friends that i know will take care of them.

*My dog will be spayed after birth.

I have a 3 year old dachshund and one day when i came home i saw her and my neighbors dog(which is also a dachshund) locked together Apparently my dog had dug a hole through the fence and the neighbors dog was able to get in. I've heard that you shouldn't break a lock because you can harm both dogs. They were there for about 15 minutes. Now 24 days after that my dogs boobs are a little bigger and shes thrown up and doesn't want to eat. I'd like to know if she might be pregnant or not, here are some pictures if it helps:

My dog is already 20 days pregnant and I noticed today that she discharged something when she was peeing. It wasn't clear though,instead it was sort of bloody and thick looking.It wasn't big either like the size of a pea at most.I thought it might be an embryo but i wasn't sure.Is this normal? Or does this mean that my dog is discharging her puppies?

My friend bred a standard female dachshund with a mini male dachshund..i know it was wrong of her to do this but she has offered me a puppy...i havent said no but i havent said yes...first i would like to know if there are any complications to this so i know wether to take one or not.(P.S i am perfectly able mentally,phinacially, and physically to take care of a dog.I know how the dachshunds work because i have had one before.i just want to know wether this is a big problem.)
