well the point would to get people that cant afford it or need a little help getting better coverage also so many people are being denied health insurance based on conditions they already have an some insurance company go out of there way to get people denied like an example one person get really sick the insurance company would look into a way they dint have to pay you health care bills

an this is one of the reasons are economy is not doing well insurance is being denied to people an insurance companys look for ways to not pay your health bills when you very sick. people lost some of there homes for this reason
