Was wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

She bought equate generic pregnancy tests for the first 3, the first one was too faint to read the next one was negative. 3 days later she tries again and it says positive. We were excited but concerned about the false one. I bought more expensive ones digital ones at that and both in a row says not pregnant.

Our dilemma is we both started new jobs at separate medical centers, and have a waiting period on our insurance of 60 days(40 days in) we want to set up an appointment with our OBGYN but really didn't want to set something up unless we were 100% so we didn't have to worry about a couple big bills.

My question is, has this happened to anyone else? I know these preggo tests are supposed to be pretty accurate but the 3 negatives kinda make me think we could get away waiting a few weeks.

Ok, I'll try to get this in a nut shell. I already emailed Ford, but was wondering some opinions on what else I can do in the time being. Ok, my Range Rover's fuel pump went out on my fiance on Friday, I debated fixing it or trading it in. We only have 2 vehicles and 5 jobs between us both. So keep this in mind, we NEED a second vehicle by Monday at the latest but if I fixed the truck I'd have to figure something out for a 2nd car till at least mid week. This turning out to be not an option I got a hold of a Ford dealership and asked what they'd give me for the truck in the condition it was in, the numbers matched I was happy and said I'd tow it, in the mean time I told him I would check out the website and pick the vehicle we wanted and put a downpayment on it. So, Saturday morning when I got home from work around 11am I called and put down a big down payment on a new 11 F150 for them to hold.(one of 3 left on their lot) they took me payment on my debit card and told me they put a hold sign on it, I called a tow company and paid the $355 it cost to get from my place in the boons out the the closest Ford dealership. As the tow guy is driving away at about 11:45 and we're on the way I get a call saying the truck has been sold and my card was never charged. I was mad, but they said they had other trucks in stock they could get me into and different one not on their site. I figured well I already paid towing, I'm already on my way, what else can I do? I get to the dealer and let me say one other quick thing. They were VERY nice, and VERY helpful.. but also VERY stupid. Most of all the trucks I saw there I didn't care for whether it be color or lack of options I wanted. I settled on a 2010 F150 king ranch instead with 4000 miles. Happy with my decision I gave my debit card back to put as a downpayment. Surprise! Declined! How is this possible? Turns out they did infact charge my car for the original down payment then cancelled it and guess what else? Takes 4 days to get back into my account!($7000!) my bank has a $10000 a month limit for my checkings when using my debit card. Well they actually ask me to use another form of payment! I don't have a credit card besides a $500 limit one for emergencies and I don't have cash on hand, nor do I have checks. So basically I get screwed, I'm already there, I paid for towing, I now cannot put down a downpayment and now cannot get approved for any new truck! 4 hours later I'm scrabbling to figure something out. Trying to condense this store I test drove a brand new 2012 Ford Focus. It didn't have cruise though but I liked it and the mileage was awesome so I asked for one specifically that was loaded with most all options but at LEAST had to have cruise/traction/ABS. They found me a black one an SE loaded with almost everything and also told me that it has all those features. I went ahead with the deal(it was 7pm at this point the dealership had been technically closed for an hour they aren't open on Sundays and I HAVE to have a 2nd car on Monday!) so now not only am I screwed out of the vehicle I originally wanted, I got screwed out of a vehicle I would settle on because they charged me for a held vehicle they didn't hold and now I get somewhat screwed because I had no choice at this point than to purchase something.(not 25 years old cannot rent a car) and now on top of everything when I got home I tore the car apart to see what it was made of and noticed it does NOT have ABS or traction..(does have cruise!) I wrote to Ford about this, the dealer said they can't help me or do anything about it. Really? Is there anything I can do? I feel like this whole situation when put into this context shows that they should be responsible for getting me something I want. I live in MinneSNOWta. I would very much like to have ABS and traction when my other vehicle for winter is a 08 Mustang that I drive year round. Actually I really wanted the 4x4.. but I was not going to just spend money to get something to spend money so buying something random 4x4 that I would just sell in a few weeks was not an option.

Sorry this was long, needed to rant and hear an outside opinion on what happened here.

I picked up an application today but the app looks folded a couple times with lines and just looks like crap. I should of asked for another one but oh well, I wanted to scan it into the computer but the lines obviously still show up and it still looks like crap. Any way to easily fix this?? Or should I just turn in the bad looking app and hope for the best.

4 years ago at my previous work, I ended up getting convicted of failing to report a crime. It was a felony, a B.S. felony.(Another employer was stealing while I was working and I noticed him getting away and then later on just said nothing about it)

I got a year probation then it was expunged, and when I call the county clerk they say it shows up as expunged.

However, I was recently layed off from my process engineering job and have been needing a job to get me by while I wait on a better job.. I applied and got the job at Walmart for the time being, however got a failed background check letter in the mail by Walmart a week later as they found me to be a criminal. How is this possible??

I live in Minnesota if it makes any difference.

Just got this truck last week for $6,000 as is and I have already put on 1,500 miles. I didn't expect a free ride with that cheap of a truck but now I'm experiencing some, "rubbing" noise? When its put into Auto 4x4. In 2WD it drives perfectly fine and quiet but when I click auto it still works very well but it feels like it kind of has a grinding but not grinding feel on the front left(driver) side. What is this?

It has brand new suspension, brand new rotors and brake pads as well as wheel bearings so I'm a little confused. Any help would be awesome.

As of now I never even drive in auto 4x4 anyways since I use the truck as my daily driver car, so its not like I need it, but it would be nice to have it fixed because the noise is a little annoying.

I bought a basically brand new with everything(except one thing :P) HTC Touch Pro2.

It's actually running Windows 6.5 and it seems to be on a HD2 rom. It doesn't lag too much the 528 processor seems to hold up for the most part. However I noticed that one thing I didn't get was a SD card. I have a 8GB SD card in my girlfriends Cliq, will it make my Touch Pro2 run better and more smooth?

I'm curious to peoples opinions. I've had tons of different cars, I get bored easily and buy low and sell high though. I'm selling my Mercedes S550 tomorrow and now have a list of a few cars that are suitable in very different ways for what I like and need in a daily driver.

I just filed my taxes and last week I decided to take my 401k out from an old job. Since I did that this year instead of last year I wasn't able to do anything on my returns I just did for last year. My question is how do I go about paying the tax and penalty on it right now so I have what I'm supposed to have? I don't want to wait for a year and forget about it. I just got my funds this morning from the 401k in full so any help would be appriciated.

I upgraded about a year and a half ago and sold the phone right away.(long time iPhone user) but there is finally a T-Mobile phone coming out that I want the HTC HD2, I'm going to be a few months shy of my upgrade so I was wondering if anyone knows the policy on early upgrades? If I get a certain amount off if I extend another year or so? I have been with them about 10 years now if that makes any difference. I hate using their website and it doesn't give a lot of information so anyone that could shed some quick light I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Just been happening in cold weather, one of my beaters keeps doing this, I've never encountered such a high peach scream before on a car so I was curious what it is. I had a friend say that he thinks its a sign of a bad fuel pump but I have changed the fuel pump and experienced bad fuel pumps a few other cars and none of them made this kind of noise.

I will say one thing, the car needs a tune up. Bought 4 years ago as a winter beater and have not done a single shred of maintenance to it outside of oil changes. This is kind of annoying though and I want to get it fixed. The loud whistling noise seems to go away when in movement and more exclusively when its up to operating temperature.

Things to rule out.

(in my book fuel pump) However if any one of you think it could be I will look into it more.

Power steering. It's not the power steering pump.

It's not a drive belt.

Also, if it matters, it was an ex-government car with a motor from a 2003 300M if it makes a difference.. I know horse power was different but I'm not sure anything else with the motor would be different. 3.5L HO

So my girlfriend went to work a bit ago in the 04 Cadillac Seville with the 'awesome' Northstar 4.6L V8. It's right now -20 degrees out side so its pretty darn cold, she made it about 5 miles and called and the car was overheating.

1. The car is getting no heat, this happened a month ago and the cause was that the antifreeze was gone, I tightened up the hoses and the antifreeze has not gone anywhere.

2. The antifreeze that is in the container is boiling but not spewing out, it also was not smoking as far as I could tell, however last month it did steam pretty fast.

I'm stuck on two things, either a stuck thermostat or maybe the coolant froze? It's not the head gaskets, I'm ruling that out, so anyone with knowledge on this situation that could chime in would be great.

I'm not worried about re-growth, but I have very thin black hair; always have. I got a full head of it, but was wondering if using rogaine would thicken it up?

Found an extra GM keyfob I wanted to program for my car. I googled and had no luck with a couple of the procedures so I was wondering if anyone knew how to do it for the 99 Cadillac Seville?

I tried the put key in ignition with holding the unlock button and cycle on and off a few times then holding down the buttons on the fob but that didn't work.. so other methods is what I need. Thanks!

Ah.... I absolutely looove the name Bentley for a boy and loooove Mercedes for a girl. I'm just afraid with the car reference that they may be made fun of, not really sure?

I don't personally know anyone with either of these two names, but I don't wanna be weird for naming my kids after cars either..

Oh, and my fiance and I both have agreed on these names so its not like I have to go through her either. =P Just wondering what the opinion of the public is.

I ask because I'm doing an extremely lop sided on my end trade of my 99 Cadillac Seville STS for a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab. I'm giving him $2500 in cash on top of it.

I've owned this car only 4 months and have $2600 left on a 2 year loan to pay off. I don't want to add $2500 to that amount and still have a two year loan. I'm really hoping for 4 but am assuming it may only be 3.

Does anyone know the chart for how much of a loan and how many years it would be? It's a difference of $50 a month between 3-4 years so it'd be great to know. If anything I'd just take out more on the separate loan and then just use the overhead to pay off part of the $2500, kind of a sneaky move but effective.

Like the title says. I don't get what it could be, I am losing a smalllll amount of antifreeze every week to two weeks but certainly not enough for it to do this from lack of antifreeze. So what else is there? Radiator plugged or what?

Okay, I have the infamous Northstar engine, however it has new head gaskets; so for the moment I am ruling HG failure out.

This morning I put in regular fuel*not premium* for the first time since I've owned the car. Ironically then tonight is the first time it over heated.

I'll set up the scene though.

Car is outside, it was -6 degrees outside I didn't let the car warmup I just took off to Walmart and then I let the car stay on while I was in there for 5 minutes. I come out and notice that for the first time its little tac is over the middle. I have the heater on high and blowing and it takes me 5 minutes to get home and it kept getting hotter, but didn't go into the red line. The info center did read when I just got to my driveway that the "engine was hot, ac off" whatever that means. I turned off the car and it was smoking from my side. I popped the hood and it was all steam coming from the antifreeze container. It went away after about 10 minutes.

This just happened and its -10 out now so tonight I don't really feel like looking at it, but does anyone have any ideas for when I go out there for what to look for first? Thanks a lot.

It's really annoying. I put in new brake pads, but I didn't change the sensors and I'm not going to because they are stupid expensive for a feature thats pretty unneeded. Is there any way to keep this light off for good? It comes on every time I turn on the car and I have to hit the arrow up to turn it to something else.

Also, are those sensors the possible reason for the annoying chirp I hear while driving? It sounds like its coming from the wheel in the front but the rotors are new, brake pads are new and everything is in sound shape yet it makes the most annoying chirp ever. Could this be because the car thinks it needs new brake pads so its telling me to change by chirp and by stupid light on the dash?

I've always been curious, I've never had a credit card, and I do want to eventually buy a house in the next 6 months. When I look at all the applications and calculators it says, "Whats your annual income?" Well is this before or after taxes? Net or gross? If it means gross thats awesome because then I qualify for a way better house than what my net is obviously. lol Also, why is this calculated the way it is? I can EASILY afford $1,500 payments along with all my other expenses yet its as if its sitting me on the edge?
