Can an origanl student loan debt be charged off then...?
Ok original student loan was charged off. It was picked up by another debt collector then another (at least 3 others) Now it is back in the hands of the original saying I owe it to them... can they legal write it off their ledgers and then ask for the full ammount again. Isnt this pull one on the government>?

If I contact the original creditor just to see if they still own it or if and to whom they have sold to will this reset the SOL. I am not offering a payment just to see if this junk debt collector actually owns it.

i just went to court today and have submitted what I believe to be a pretty good case. The judge granted them a continuance and yelled at me. I asked if he read my motions and he said that he skimmed over but did not read them. what can I do now, I have 6 months to get it together...been fighing for myself now hiring a lawyer.

During the course of the year a I was contacted by a collection agencey that was collecting for my Target credit card. I have been paying for several months now, and upon viewing my credit report Target has been removed but I am still paying this debt. what does this mean. Doe this collection agency truely own it

A friend of mine is opening a daycare and she has a loft above it that she wants to rent out. I am planning on renting it and have a little coffee shop/bookstore. Selling used books, having a letter reading area and selling coffee, lattes etc. Maybe just muffins, bagles...the like

They are saying that I owe the same ammount that I paid off. It is the same account number as well. I contacted all 3 of the credit reports to dispute this and it comes back as an account being open
